  • Patent number: 11581781
Abstract: A linear actuator for adjusting a piece of furniture comprises a motor having a motor shaft, a conversion arrangement coupled to the motor shaft and adapted to convert a rotational movement generated by the motor shaft into an elongation of the linear actuator, and a locking arrangement coupled directly or indirectly to the motor shaft and adapted to selectively cause rotation locking of the motor shaft by means of a locking element. The locking arrangement comprises an inner part with at least one inner chamber and an outer part radially surrounding the inner part and having at least one outer chamber. The outer part and the inner part are rotatable relative to each other in such a way that the at least one inner chamber and the at least one outer chamber can be aligned with each other. The rotation locking is activated by clamping the locking element between the at least one inner chamber and the at least one outer chamber by means of rotation of the inner part and the outer part relative to each other.

  • Publication number: 20190183239
Abstract: A furniture control system has a first and a second control unit to which a first and a second actuator are connectable. The first control unit is configured to control the first actuator based on first actuation data and comprises a first data pool unit for storing first data including the first actuation data. The second control unit is configured to control the second actuator based on second actuation data and comprises a second data pool unit for storing second data including the second actuation data. The control system is configured to synchronize the first and second data upon a change of the first and/or the second actuation data.

  • Publication number: 20180313437
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a screw drive with an element having a thread, at least one planet and a holder, wherein the at least one planet is held by the holder and rolls along the threads of the thread of the element and the holder moves linearly along the thread of the element relative to the element. The at least one planet of the screw drive is formed by a bearing which engages with its outer ring or with its inner ring in the thread of the element via an angular section.
