  • Publication number: 20120193257
Abstract: A tortilla cartridge with fresh sealing capabilities and a tortilla conveying capabilities is disclosed. The tortilla cartridge allows for efficient conveying of tortillas through a tortilla warmer, and also provides for easy storage of the tortillas in a manner that keeps them fresh. The cartridge provides a stack of tortillas, ensuring that the top side a top tortilla is exposed at a top opening of the container at the appropriate time for the top tortilla to be removed from the cartridge, through the tortilla warmer. At a predetermined time interval from a previous top tortilla being removed from the container, the new top tortilla will be positioned at the top of the stack of tortillas in the cartridge, to be removed in the same manner. This configuration allows for automatic conveying of tortillas, in sequence, through the tortilla warmer.

  • Publication number: 20120193345
Abstract: An improved tortilla conveying system, for sequentially conveying a plurality of tortillas to be warmed, is disclosed. The conveying system provides a stack of tortillas and automatically conveys tortillas sequentially through a tortilla warmer. The tortillas are stored in a container. A dragger at least frictionally engages the top side of the top tortilla, dragging the tortilla off of the top of the container for subsequent heating by a heating element of the tortilla warmer. In some embodiments, the tortilla container can automatically elevate the stack of tortillas, so a top tortilla always remains exposed at the top of the container. In other embodiments, an extractor delivers the tortilla outside of the heating system once the tortilla is sufficiently warmed. The tortillas are warmed in sequence by a heating element, via conduction, convection, and/or radiation. In some embodiments, various components of the conveyer are synchronized, via a gearbox for example.

  • Publication number: 20120192721
Abstract: A tortilla warmer control system is disclosed for controlling preparation and dispensing of tortillas. The control system includes a control unit capable of receiving inputs from a user, and providing outputs. The control unit receives user inputs including: a frequency of heating sessions, a number of tortillas to be heated and dispensed during each heating session; and tortilla texture. The control unit provides outputs including: a speed at which tortillas are to be conveyed through a heating sub-system of the tortilla warmer, and/or a temperature to be provided during each heating session; and a heating session initiation signal. The user inputs received by the control unit can also include a selected rate at which the tortillas are to be dispensed during the heating session. The outputs provided by the control unit can also include a rate at which tortillas are introduced into the heating sub-system.

  • Patent number: 7699387
Abstract: The present invention consists of a concealment device for vehicle roofs with a transparent element comprising a group of technical solutions in the blocking means which enable unblocking and smooth opening and closing movements without losing efficiency in respect of retention. It is characterized by the use in the rail of an elastomeric body with a distortion capacity such that when the braking brake shoe attempts to advance a front of elastomeric material forms in front and a traction zone forms behind, checking the advance. The device also incorporates blocking means which make use of an appropriately configured lever which multiplies the release force of the retention brake shoes applied by means of a wire or similar, by power obtained from the handle device.

  • Publication number: 20080282903
Abstract: A novel tortilla warmer is disclosed and comprises a housing with a feeder assembly, a feed system, a heating chamber and an output whereby unheated tortillas are individually fed into the tortilla warmer and are heated to a level selected by a user and outputted when ready. The tortilla warmer of the present invention can also employ a feeder assembly for the storage of unheated tortillas in a manner that is compatibly with automatic feeding of the tortillas into the tortilla warmer. In one embodiment of the present invention, the tortilla warmer may be controlled by a remote control whereby the tortilla warmer functions can be activated from a distance.

  • Publication number: 20080059883
Abstract: Described is a system and method for visually delineating a relationship between diverse, but related graphical objects in a graphical user interface. An icon that has specified color scheme is associated with the diverse, but related but graphical objects. When one of the related graphical objects is displayed, the icon is displayed within the displayed graphical object. The persistence of the icon with the specified color scheme in the displayed graphical objects allows them to be recognized as related.

  • Publication number: 20060259878
Abstract: An automated processor design tool uses a description of customized processor instruction set extensions in a standardized language to develop a configurable definition of a target instruction set, a Hardware Description Language description of circuitry necessary to implement the instruction set, and development tools such as a compiler, assembler, debugger and simulator which can be used to develop applications for the processor and to verify it. Implementation of the processor circuitry can be optimized for various criteria such as area, power consumption, speed and the like. Once a processor configuration is developed, it can be tested and inputs to the system modified to iteratively optimize the processor implementation. By providing a constrained domain of extensions and optimizations, the process can be automated to a high degree, thereby facilitating fast and reliable development.

  • Publication number: 20060101369
Abstract: A system for generating processor hardware supports a language for significant extensions to the processor instruction set, where the designer specifies only the semantics of the new instructions and the system generates other logic. The extension language provides for the addition of processor state, including register files, and instructions that operate on that state. The language also provides for new data types to be added to the compiler to represent the state added. It allows separate specification of reference semantics and instruction implementation, and uses this to automate design verification. In addition, the system generates formatted instruction set documentation from the language specification.

  • Patent number: 6944986
Abstract: A clipper for cutting and severing a portion of bait material preventing direct contact of a user with the former. The two elongated pivotally mounted members include cutting assemblies ends that cooperate to come towards each other in a substantially parallel fashion. Peripheral walls with distal sharpened edges have to cut into a bait severing a portion that is lodged between complementing cavities formed by the peripheral walls. Slots in the base plates extend towards their respective centers upon which the peripheral wall are perpendicularly mounted permit a user to manipulate a fishing hook. The hook is removed through one of the cutouts in the peripheral walls that coincide with the entrance to the slots. A user can then hold the bait portion with one hand while safely manipulating the hook with the other hand to set his/her fishing bait.

  • Publication number: 20050160402
Abstract: A system for adding advanced instructions to a microprocessor includes a language for formally capturing the new instructions and a method for generating hardware implementations and software tools for the extended processors. The extension language provides for additions of VLIW instructions, complex load/store instructions, more powerful description styles using functions, more powerful register operands, and a new set of built-in modules. The method is capable of generating fully-pipelined micro-architectural implementations for the new instructions in the form of synthesizable HDL descriptions which can be processed by standard CAD tools. The method is also capable of generating software components for extending software development tools for the microprocessor with new instructions.
