  • Publication number: 20060070735
Abstract: A flow back process usable on a well during a drilling operation includes the steps of flowing the commingled well fluids and solids into a surface-mounted flow back system under wellbore pressure. Alternatively, a flow back process includes the steps of connecting a surface-mounted flow back system to the well while the well is in an underbalanced condition. The operation of sequentially drilling through each of a plurality of isolation plugs is then initiated while flowing the well fluids and plug fragments into a surface-mounted flow back system. In yet another aspect, a large particle filter includes a filter section, a monitoring assembly, a bypass system and a purge assembly. The large particle filter can be connected to a Christmas tree and used to remove plug fragments from commingled flow leaving the well during a drilling operation.

  • Publication number: 20050229288
Abstract: Headgear which can be formed into a compact unit such as a carrying case comprising a headband portion and a bill portion, the bill portion being comprised of at least two bill sections which are hingedly connected to one another, the bill sections being made of a semi-rigid plastic having a shape in a relaxed position, which maintains the bill sections in an extended position, the bill sections being releasably formable into a substantially flat configuration such that when the headband is collapsed so as to be partially positionable under the bottom side of the first bill section, the collapsed headband will be at least partially disposed between the bottom side of the first bill section and the bottom side of the second bill section.

  • Patent number: 5433627
Abstract: A method and apparatus for connecting, in an intermediate place and without cutting it, to a coaxial cable wherein an oblong section of the outer insulation is sliced out and the outer conductor is moved away discovering the inner insulation. The central conductor is connected with an electrical conductor which has one end forked, adapted to penetrate the inner insulation. The other end has a tubular shape, adapted for the insertion of the central contact of a coaxial connector, and it is insulated in it's outside surface to avoid electrical contact with a second part which provides the electrical connection of the outer conductor. The second part is a tubular metallic housing, externally threaded to screw into a standard coaxial connector, one end has a constriction, reducing the internal and external diameter, with the purpose to facilitate the insertion in the coaxial connector and to provide an internal shoulder that holds the insulated central conductor.

  • Patent number: 5362234
Abstract: This invention consists of three main parts and a shock-absorbing resilient member. The first main part is a self-drilling implant. The self-drilling implant is tubular in design, having a hollow basket that saves some of the bone granulate from the osteotomy. The bone granulate encourages the formation of a blood clot, helps to immobilize the implant and provides an absorbable substance to precipitate recalcification. The second part is a tissue extension that screws into the implant. The tissue extension has a socket which receives the third element, i.e., the keeper. Two alternative keeper designs, each with its own type of shock-absorbing member, are disclosed. Each keeper embodiment has a bi-frustum principle shape and a longitudinal central shaft. Various dental prosthesis may be attached to the keeper.

  • Patent number: 5339562
Abstract: A fish catching device comprising a pointless non-piercing fish hook having a hinged lever that closes over the lure, driven by the biting force of the fish, is disclosed. The device closes and holds the fish by its mouth with a tongs-like action.

  • Patent number: 5213500
Abstract: A dental implant system comprising a foundation fixture to be embedded in the jaw bone; said system further comprising a hollow transmucosal abutment member supporting a keeper for either a single tooth prosthesis or multiple teeth prostheses. The abutment comprises a plurality of inwardly curved resilient members defining a hollow column extending from a series of external threads which connect, in torus-like fashion, to a hollow pedestal section for the abutment. The internal surfaces of the resilient members have configured protrusions configured to interlock with the keeper. This configuration, in a no-load condition, allows the keeper to rest within the foundation fixture at sufficiently spaced-apart relationship between the keeper and the fixture to maintain a shock-absorbing fluid reservoir. An elastic seal is fitted between the keeper base and the pedestal of the abutment for closure of the reservoir.

  • Patent number: 4049427
Abstract: A non-precious dental alloy is disclosed which is particularly useful in dental prosthesis, is strong, oxidation-resistant, aesthetically pleasing and compatible with porcelain bonding upon being formed into complicated shapes. The alloy consists of, by weight, 14-21% Cr, 0.9-1.4% Be, 0.3-0.4% Cu, 8-12% Co, 0.03-0.05% Mn, 0.8-1.2% Fe, 1-1.5% Mo, 1-1.5% Al, 0.3-0.4% Si, balance Ni.
