Abstract: Support structures are used in certain additive fabrication processes to permit fabrication of a greater range of object geometries. For additive fabrication processes with materials that are subsequently sintered into a final part, an interface layer is formed between the object and support in order to inhibit bonding between adjacent surfaces of the support structure and the object during sintering.

Abstract: It is described an autonomous system for tracking an individual, comprising: wheeled vehicle; 3D depth camera, distance and/or touch sensors; at least two motors, each to drive one or more wheels respectively from both sides, left and right, of the mentioned vehicle; data processing module, comprising a decision unit configured to: if the 3D depth camera detects that the distance between the system and the individual to follow is inferior to a predetermined limit, decrease the speed of the two motors; if the 3D depth camera detects that the person to be followed exceeds a predetermined limit on the left or right of a horizontal predefined point, increase the engine speed on the right, slowing the speed of the left engine, or vice versa.

Abstract: A scale is disclosed for use in making direct measurements in feet and inches on blue prints and the like drawn in various reduced scales. The scale features special inch character markings throughout the length of the scale to enable the user to directly read measurements in inches between corresponding foot measurements. The markings include 3, 6 and 9 inch subdivision and character markings with 6 inch markings for the smallest scale contemplated.
