  • Publication number: 20220368195
Abstract: Some embodiments provide irrigation generator systems that include a main conduit comprising an inlet conduit and an outlet conduit; a flow control system positioned within the main conduit; a generator conduit comprising a generator inlet conduit and a generator outlet conduit, wherein the generator inlet conduit is fluidly coupled with the main conduit upstream of the flow control system, the generator outlet conduit is fluidly coupled with the main conduit downstream of the flow control system; and a generator comprising a rotor assembly cooperated with generator conduit to be physically activated by a flow of fluid through the generator conduit causing rotation of the rotor assembly and generates electrical power. The flow control system transitions between a closed state to the open state in response to a water pressure exceeding a pressure threshold.

  • Patent number: 10913575
Abstract: The phase-change accommodating rigid fluid container disclosed herein includes a variety of features that protect the container from phase changes of a fluid stored therein. As a result, the container may be in direct contact with the fluid without any flexible membrane or bag there between. For example, the fluid container may include one or more of matched pairs of recesses for physical manipulation of the container, stiffening ribs extending between the recesses, and input/output assemblies acting as inputs for fluid into the container, outputs of fluid from the container, and vents for pressure equalization of the container.

  • Publication number: 20090232280
Abstract: An intra-oral radiograph medium protection device in accordance with the present invention facilitates the comfort of the patient during radiology examination, while protecting radiograph medium such as film or storage plates from damage during the examination. Features of the present invention address protection of the radiograph medium during intra-oral manipulation and placement of the radiograph medium during examination, providing a fluid barrier, and variable positioning features, all while facilitating the ease of use of the radiograph medium in radiographic examination in preparation for, during and after the exam. The intra-oral radiograph medium protection device has two radiograph medium protection elements that are releasably retained in either open or closed configurations to provide a protective casing for a radiograph medium.

  • Publication number: 20090220053
Abstract: An intra-oral sensor protection device in accordance with the present invention facilitates the comfort of the patient during radiology examination, while protecting sensitive and relatively delicate digital sensors from damage during the examination. Features of the present invention address protection of the sensor during intra-oral manipulation and placement of the sensor during examination, providing a fluid barrier, and variable positioning features, all while facilitating the ease of use of the sensor in radiographic examination in preparation for, during and after the exam. The intra-oral sensor protection device has two sensor protection elements that are releasably retained in either open or closed configurations to provide a protective casing for a sensor. Features are provided to accommodate for either wired or wireless sensor communication and may have sensor protection connection elements that provide for a fluid barrier when each sensor protection element is retained in a closed configuration.
