  • Patent number: 11674077
Abstract: A process for the post-deposition treatment of colloidal quantum dot films to improve photodetector performance. A colloidal quantum dot film is first deposited on a suitable substrate or device structure, given a ligand exchange, and then allowed to dry into a completed film. Next, a solution is prepared consisting of dilute H2O2 mixed with a polar solvent such as isopropyl alcohol solution. The prepared film and substrate are then immersed into the prepared solution over a set interval of time. After which, the film is removed and rinsed with solvent, then dried with clean N2 gas. After this treatment, the colloidal quantum dot film is ready for use as a photodetector.

  • Patent number: 11663391
Abstract: Aspects of the invention include systems and methods for implementing a CMOS circuit design that uses a sea-of-gates fill methodology to provide latch-up avoidance. A non-limiting example computer-implemented method includes identifying a fill cell in the circuit design. The fill cell can include a power rail, a ground rail, and a field-effect transistor (FET) electrically coupled to the power rail through a via. The method can include disconnecting the via from the power rail and moving the via to a disconnected node in the fill cell. Moving the via decouples a source or drain of the fill cell from a well of the fill cell, preventing latch-up while maintaining via and metal shape density.

  • Publication number: 20230057913
Abstract: A hair styling device features a headband worn along a hairline of a user's head and spanning around a crown thereof, preferably with an ornamental appearance displayed on a front portion of the headband across the along a front hairline to enable daytime wearing thereof in social settings. A rear portion of the headband is embodied by a bobble strand comprising a series of ball-shaped bobbles sequentially arranged therealong to span in series across the back of the users head, where the user's hair is able to be wrapped around said bobble strand at a rear of the hairline. This wound state of the user's hair around the said strand of bobbles imparts a curling action that leaves behind a curled hairstyle on the user's hair when the headband is removed.

  • Publication number: 20230021423
Abstract: Techniques for assessing a computing risk of an entity based on a social media footprint of that user. Social media accounts of an entity are identified. Queries are executed against the accounts to determine a social media footprint the entity has based on engagements with those accounts. The footprint reflects at least how much information associated with the entity has been exposed as a result of the engagements with those accounts. Based on the footprint, a risk score for the entity is developed. The risk score reflects a determined amount of computing risk the entity has with regard to potential malicious use of exposed entity information. Based on the risk score, mitigation operations are performed in an attempt to reduce the risk score.

  • Publication number: 20230028704
Abstract: Techniques for certifying a document and for securely transmitting access to the document across a blockchain network are disclosed. A document, which details results of a soft inquiry executed against a user's credit history, is accessed. A hash algorithm is applied to the document to certify it. The hash algorithm is based on a timestamp indicating when the document was created. Applying the hash algorithm also generates a portable identifier reflecting the document is certified at the time indicated by the timestamp. The portable identifier is added as a record to a blockchain. The record is transmitted to a second computer system using public and private keys.
