  • Publication number: 20120181342
Abstract: The Automatic HVAC Energy Saver Control Unit (HVAC-ES) is composed of 4 components. The Control System includes 2 wireless contacts, 1 transformer, and 1 control keypad. The Relay opens and closes the circuit. The Timer determines when the Relay engages and had dip switches and a timer dial that allows the delay to be set in seconds, minutes, or hours. The Cover encloses the Relay and Timer. The HVAC-ES operates when a door or window fitted with the wireless contacts is left open beyond the programmed time. At that point, the relay engages and shuts off the power to the HVAC unit. Once the door or window is closed the relay disengages and the power to the HVAC unit is restored. The HVAC-ES is connected to the power wires between the thermostatic control and the HVAC unit.

  • Patent number: 6017107
Abstract: A support frame for use in furniture includes a first pair of end column members and at least one intermediate column member in spaced parallel relationship, a second pair of end column members and at least one intermediate column member in spaced parallel relationship, and at least two rows of horizontal beam members, with beam members disposed between adjacent column members. Openings are provided in the column members and beam member and metal fasteners secure them together, in tension. Additional securement may be achieved by also adhesively securing the column members and beam members together. A decorative covering may be used to encase and decorate the support frame.

  • Patent number: 5461895
Abstract: An improved plate leveller comprising a housing, a rigid top beam and a bottom beam mounted on the housing, a flexible beam disposed between the upper rigid beam and the bottom beam and connected at the ends thereof to secondary bending cylinders mounted on the rigid top beam, upper back-up roll assemblies mounted on the flexible beam, lower back-up roll assemblies mounted on the lower beam, upper and lower work rolls disposed between the back-up roll assemblies, and a primary bending cylinder mounted on the rigid top beam and bearing on an upper surface of the flexible beam and, with the secondary bending cylinders, bending the flexible beam to counteract deflection of the bottom beam under load, thereby to maintain the upper and lower work rolls in parallel relationship to each other and providing uniform dimensions of plate passed therebetween.
