  • Publication number: 20220117768
Abstract: Ankle brace having a rubber stabilizer that fits under the heel of the wearer with uprights on either side. The rear bottom of the stabilizer has a semi-circular depressed area with a gradual taper in thickness that is thinnest along the rear-most edge and thickest where the semi-circular area connects to the interior of the stabilizer element. When weight is placed on the heel, the depression operates to leverage the front of the foot upward, which takes up slack in the ligaments of a person.

  • Publication number: 20210277784
Abstract: The present technique presents a turbomachine component having an airfoil e.g. a vane of a gas turbine. The airfoil wall defines an internal space which includes a first and a second cooling channels having a first and a second impingement inserts, that define a first main and a first peripheral flow channels in the first cooling channel and a second main and a second peripheral flow channels in the second cooling channel, respectively. Impingement jets ejected from the main flow channels via impingement holes of the corresponding impingement inserts are received in the corresponding peripheral flow channels. A channel connecting conduit conducts a flow of the cooling air from the first cooling channel to the second cooling channel. The channel connecting conduit includes an inlet connected to an outlet of the first cooling channel, and an outlet connected to an inlet of the second cooling channel.

  • Publication number: 20210267714
Abstract: The present invention provides a clamp (10) for clamp for retaining a medical device in a medical apparatus. The clamp (10) includes a pair of opposed gripping elements (16). At least one of the gripping elements is substantially rotatably moveable to grip and apply a compressive force on a portion of the medical device when the portion it is placed between the gripping elements. The compressive force increases when the at least one of the gripping elements rotates in one direction and reduces when it rotates in an opposite direction.

  • Patent number: 11108954
Abstract: Generating panoramic video viewable at a third-party video management system includes receiving image data captured by at least one camera. The received image data may be captured at a plurality of angles (e.g., stop positions) arranged about a single axis (e.g., about which the camera rotates). The received image data may optionally be analyzed. Based on the received image data (and any optional analysis thereof), panoramic video derived from the captured image data (e.g., still images) may then be generated. A single video stream including the generated panoramic video may then be generated. The single generated video stream may then be sent to a third-party video management system (VMS). The video stream may be usable by the video management system for displaying the generated panoramic video. Various other views or other information may also be included in the single video stream sent to the VMS.

The insert includes first and second body parts, each having inner and outer surfaces; and first and second contact parts provided on the outer surfaces of the first and the second body parts. The insert includes a flexible mechanical seal part between the body parts. A flow channel for cooling air is defined by the seal part and the inner surfaces of the body parts. One or both of the body parts include impingement holes. The insert has an elastic part connected to the body parts. When the elastic part is subjected to deformation, the elastic part is configured to apply a force, on the first and/or the second body parts, in a direction of increasing a separation between the first contact part and the second contact part.
