  • Patent number: 8594478
Abstract: A laser optical fiber storage system (10) and method for temporarily storing a proximal section (12) of an elongated flexible optical fiber (14). The system and method include a storage housing (16) having a closed end (18) and an open end (20). A plug stopper (22) being laser energy impermeable is disposed within the open end of the elongated storage housing to prevent the escape of laser light from within the storage housing. The plug stopper has an access port (24) adapted to enable the proximal section of the optical fiber to be loaded into and withdrawn from the housing. The storage housing is configured to temporarily retain the proximal section of the elongated flexible optical fiber in an elongated configuration or in a spiral configuration. Structure (29) within the storage housing prevents laser light from passing through walls of the storage housing.

    Assignee: Patient Pocket, LLC
Inventors: Allen D. Seftel, Stephen T. Pastor, Richard Alan Williams
  • Patent number: 8342340
Abstract: A merchandising system includes an elongated mounting member selectively securable to an associated shelf. A cooperating member is received on the mounting member, wherein the cooperating member extends rearwardly over the associated shelf. The cooperating member includes an elongated body. An engaging element is mounted to the elongated body and is movable in relation thereto. The engaging element selectively contacts the mounting member in order to selectively secure the cooperating member to the mounting member.

Date of Patent: January 1, 2013
    Assignee: Fasteners For Retail, Inc.
Inventors: James J. Rataiczak, III, Paul A. Mueller, Daniel J. Kump, Raymond J. Fritz, Richard Alan Williams, Wallace D. Tiller, Jr., Daniel Edward Kustra

  • Patent number: 6966449
Abstract: A bulk box (200) comprising a base panel (202) and four side panels (204, 206) individually formed and assembled into a container. The bottom surface (232) of the base panel (202) comprises a matrix of pedestals (236) with the ground-contacting face (244) of each of the corner pedestals extending to the cornermost portions of the respective pedestal. The side panels (204, 206) include lateral flanges (254, 274) which overlap to form “double-thickness” corners. The side panels (204, 206) also have upwardly extending tabs (266, 286) and the base panel (202) has notches (242) so that, when a plurality of the bulk boxes are stacked one on top of the other, the tabs of a lower bulk box are received within the notches of an upper bulk box.
