  • Patent number: 11806114
Abstract: A system for measuring capillary refill time includes a wearable device and a control unit. The wearable device includes a force sensor to obtain a force signal and an optical sensor to obtain an optical signal. The system ensures that an applied force is acceptable in both magnitude and duration, and that a duration over which the applied force is released or removed is acceptable. These factors can establish that a capillary refill time determined or calculated therein is accurate. The system can also determine the capillary refill time based on the force and optical signals obtained by the force and optical sensors, respectively.

  • Publication number: 20230342705
Abstract: Systems for data measurement and collection are provided. A data collection system may comprise a database configured to store data about objects to be tracked, and optical codes corresponding to specific database entries may be generated, printed, and provided in physical proximity to the object to be tracked. When a user scans the optical code with a mobile electronic device, the mobile electronic device may automatically upload geographic information to the database and may prompt the user to enter measurement information to additionally be uploaded to the database. Sets of optical codes may be configured to collect user-specified types of data, and the optical codes may be provided in printable sheets; virtual visual representations of the sheets may be displayed on an electronic interface, and the virtual visual representations may indicate which of the codes have or have not been registered with the system.

  • Patent number: 11790159
Abstract: Systems for automatic document generation automatic content recognition may comprise a storage medium and a processor coupled to the storage medium. The processor may generate and/or process a document template and receive client data. In some embodiments, the processor may automatically determine whether the client data is compliant with at least one content control standard based on a comparison between the client data and at least one text variant and, if so, may automatically generate a processed document using the client data and the document template. In some embodiments, the processor may establish at least one normative form for the document template, automatically compare the client data with the normative form content, automatically recognize that the client data corresponds to the document template based on the comparing, and automatically generate a processed document using the client data and the document template.

  • Patent number: 11778706
Abstract: Systems and methods include reading a value of a desired light color temperature-time function. A first drive signal parameter is selected for a first light source having a first color temperature and a second drive signal parameter is selected for a second light source having a second color temperature. The drive signal parameters are selected to create a color temperature for a value of the desired light color temperature-time function. First light is emitted from the first light source and second light from the second light source. The first light and the second light combine to form blended light at the color temperature for the value of the desired light color temperature-time function.

  • Publication number: 20230306430
Abstract: A system for detecting a fraudulent ATM transaction is disclosed. The system relates to an ATM machine that receives a bank/ATM card from a customer. The ATM first attempts to read information from the card chip, but is unable to do so due to a read error. The ATM then instead reads the information from the magnetic strip, and initiates a fraud detection procedure. In one such procedure, the ATM uses a local wireless access point to detect a customer's device, such as a phone, in the vicinity of the ATM. In another such procedure, the ATM communicates with a backend server. The backend server then determines the location of the customer device either by transmitting a message to request authorization, or by utilizing GPS or other location-detection means on the customer device to determine whether the customer device is within the ATM vicinity.

  • Patent number: 11754361
Abstract: The present invention provides a novel gas impingement and recoil mitigation system for firearms that includes separate systems that reduce recoil, muzzle rise, and user fatigue and includes a system that is of variable size to match the size and caliber of firearm to which the system will attach. The system can attach to a variety of firearms through an appropriately sized standard barrel connector. As propellant gas is redirected through a ported barrel, the force of the over-pressure wave caused by the propellant blast impinges on a piston-like weight-and-spring mechanism, which thrusts forward with a force that is opposite in direction from the typical backward force that causes muzzle rise and recoil. Numerous additional aspects are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11728016
Abstract: A system and method for recording healthcare information of an individual under care without deleting data, includes a device for capturing person centered data and transmitting an identification signal, a memory for storing device rules, a buffer, a database; and a processor. The processor receives the signal and data, and retrieves the rules from the memory. Based on the rules, the processor determines whether the data is to be stored in the database or the buffer, and based on the data content, it determines the device location, the data recordation time, whether the individual is identified, and the individual's activity, and based on the rules and the location, time, individual identification, and activity, it determines whether the data is to be stored in the database or eliminated from the buffer. The person-centered data may include goal, outcome, medication error data, non-person centered public data, or protected health information (PHI).
