The automobile may also determine if the audible command matches a voiceprint of the user and process the automobile function accordingly. The automobile function may provide customized user settings for utilization of the automobile.

Abstract: Communications between a mobile phone and a vehicle based computer in a vehicle is disclosed. Contact information and a text message, received over a cellular network, may be provided by the mobile phone to the vehicle based computer. The text message may be subsequently displayed on a display in the vehicle.
