  • Publication number: 20060181054
Abstract: The motorcycle foot support assembly has a foot support member, a rotation arm a monolithic motorcycle-mounting bracket and a releaseable bracket-to-arm locking mechanism. The rotation arm is attached between the inner surface of the foot support and the motorcycle-mounting bracket. The monolithic motorcycle-mounting bracket has a motorcycle-attachment portion and an arm-attachment portion the latter portion for engagement with the rotation arm. The releaseable bracket-to-arm locking mechanism has an engagement pin that selectively engages with one of a plurality of predetermined stop holes whereby the releaseable bracket-to-arm locking mechanism may be selectively engaged to stop the relative rotation between the arm-attachment portion and the rotation-arm first end.

  • Publication number: 20050241547
Abstract: The invention involves a motorcycle footboard accessory. The motorcycle footboard accessory comprises: a footboard; an upstanding support member; and a heel-encounter projection. The heel-encounter projection has an inner portion attached to the upper outer surface. The heel-encounter projection also has projection lateral and longitudinal dimensions. The heel-encounter projection is dispensed above the footboard upper surface. It is another aspect of this invention to present an improvement to motorcycles of the type having at least one laterally extending, substantially horizontal surface defining a horizontal plane, designed for receiving at least a portion of an operator's foot while the motorcycle is in operation. The improvement comprises: a projection configured and arranged to receive at least a rearward portion of the operator's foot.

  • Publication number: 20050241435
Abstract: The invention is a foot-operated shift lever actuator for actuating a motorcycle gear shift lever. The shift-lever actuator has an elongate arm, which is pivotable with respect to the motorcycle. Integral with the elongate arm is a shift-lever-engaging member. Along the elongate arm is a first foot-contacting member, configured such that pressure applied to the first foot-contacting member induces a pivot motion of the elongate arm, thereby causing a vertical motion of the shift lever into the distinct shift positions.
