  • Patent number: 10001884
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes substantially simultaneously applying a pre-determined voltage to a sense electrode and a corresponding drive electrode of a touch sensor. The application of the pre-determined voltage providing a measurement current at a capacitance including the sense electrode. The method also includes determining a difference between the measurement current at the capacitance and a reference value; and determining whether a proximity input to the touch sensor has occurred based at least in part on the difference.

  • Publication number: 20180111167
Abstract: A rotating cleaner (1) comprising a housing (2) which has a cavity (10) and an inlet (9) which is connectable to a fluid supply line, a shaft (5) extending in sections into the cavity (10), a sprayer body (3) which is non-rotatably connected with the shaft (5) and has an outlet (8), and further comprising a sliding bearing for rotatably supporting the shaft (5) in the housing (2), said sliding bearing having a rotating bearing surface (23), an idle bearing surface (22) and a bearing gap. To improve the cleanability and the rotational characteristics of the rotating part, it is proposed that the rotating bearing surface (23) and the idle bearing surface (22) are each formed as a contiguous surface for supporting the shaft (5) in the radial and axial direction.

  • Publication number: 20180068097
Abstract: An embodiment of a method of providing identity assurance for a decentralized application (DApp) includes executing, by at least one distributed node of a blockchain system, an entitlement contract stored on the blockchain to perform a read call from a DApp contract stored on the blockchain, the read call including an address signing a transaction to the DApp contract. Performing the read call may include reading a list of registered addresses stored on the blockchain, determining whether the list includes the signing address; and providing an output indicating whether the list includes the signing address. The method may further include executing, by the at least one distributed node, a registry contract stored on the blockchain to perform a read call from the DApp contract, the read call including an identifier of the decentralized application.

  • Patent number: 9860612
Abstract: A method includes receiving, at a media server from a computing device, a first request for a manifest associated with media content. The method also includes generating, at the media server, the manifest based on a manifest type and a content segmentation type. The manifest identifies one or more segments of one or more adaptive streaming renditions. The method further includes sending the manifest from the media server to the computing device. The method includes receiving a second request from the computing device, where the second request identifies a requested segment of an adaptive streaming rendition identified by the manifest. The method also includes sending the requested segment from the media server to the computing device in response to the second request.

  • Publication number: 20170228062
Abstract: In one embodiment, a system includes one or more processors and one or more memory units storing logic. The logic is configured to, when executed by the processors, cause the processors to perform operations including detecting a position of a touch object within an area of a touch sensor during a period of time when an injected signal is present on one or more of the plurality of electrodes of the touch sensor. The injected signal is generated by a signal source and electrically coupled to the touch sensor through a source electrode distinct from the plurality of electrodes of the touch sensor. The operations further include identifying a source of the touch object based at least in part on a proximity of the injected signal present on one or more of the plurality of electrodes to the detected position of the touch object.
