  • Patent number: 10865553
Abstract: Toilet flushing systems installed in a toilet reservoir. A toilet reservoir stores a fluid that pours into a toilet bowl for carrying waste away from a toilet. Exemplary toilet flushing systems may include a flush sleeve having a sleeve bottom and sleeve top. The exemplary sleeve bottom may connect to a bottom of the toilet reservoir around a reservoir drain. The flush sleeve may be capable of being raised in a raised orientation such that the sleeve top is above the fluid in the toilet reservoir to prevent the fluid from entering the reservoir drain. Exemplary toilet flushing systems may include a flush sleeve actuator that lowers the sleeve top of the flush sleeve below a fluid level in the toilet reservoir to allow the fluid to flow through the flush sleeve into the reservoir drain.

  • Patent number: 9557073
Abstract: The present invention discloses adjustable air duct sealing systems for obstructing airflow through portions of an air duct system. Such systems may include an adjustable frame assembly configured to allow changes to a perimeter of the adjustable frame assembly. Systems may also include an actuator pole connector configured to attach the adjustable air duct sealing system to an actuator pole. Systems may include two or more support arms such that each support arm connects the actuator pole connector to the adjustable frame assembly and each support arm moveably connects to the actuator pole connector to allow the support arms to adjust to changes in the perimeter of the adjustable frame assembly. Some systems also include a sheet cover configured across the adjustable frame assembly to obstruct airflow through at least a portion of the adjustable frame assembly.

  • Patent number: 9360230
Abstract: The present invention discloses removable air duct sealing systems for obstructing and directing airflow through portions of an air duct system. Some systems include a support plate having an opening and a flexible connector having a catch and a tail, the catch for connecting the connector to an air duct system component and the tail for passing through the opening in the support plate. Some systems include a fastener connected to the support plate, the fastener being capable of interacting with the connector in dependence upon the positioning of the fastener. In some systems, the fastener has a catch capable of being configured in a position that prevents the fastener from moving in a direction relative to the flexible connector but will allow the fastener to move in another direction. Some systems also include a gasket for restricting airflow when the gasket is pressed toward the air duct system component.

  • Publication number: 20110250833
Abstract: The present invention discloses an air duct blocking device for obstructing airflow through portions of an air duct system. The blocking device may include a support plate having an interior side and an exterior side and an adjustable fastener configured on the exterior side. The air duct blocking device may include a flexible connector having a hook at one end that is capable of attaching to a register boot. The flexible connector passes through the support plate and the adjustable fastener, and the adjustable fastener is capable of securing the support plate in a fixed position relative to the flexible connector. The air duct blocking device may include a substantially planar gasket configured on the interior side of the support plate that is capable of blocking airflow through the register boot when the gasket is held against the register boot by the adjustable fastener secured to the flexible connector.

  • Publication number: 20110247398
Abstract: The present invention discloses an air vent cover for use in testing air leakage of an air duct system. The air vent cover includes a cover portion shaped to define a hollow cavity for enclosing an air vent. The air vent has a grill adjacent to a surface surrounding the air vent, and the grill has one or more louvers. The air vent cover includes a flexible connector extendable from the cover portion through the hollow cavity to the air vent. The flexible connector is removeably attachable to at least one of the louvers on the grill of the air vent. The flexible connector adjusts to secure an edge of the cover portion against a region of the surface surrounding the air vent, thereby creating a seal for inhibiting air flow through the air vent.
