Patent number: 6814255Abstract: An automated drug dispensing system includes a cabinet adapted to store a variety of prepackaged pharmaceuticals in a plurality of bins for filling patient prescriptions. Each bin stores a particular variety of packaged multiple-dose pharmaceutical. Each variety of pharmaceutical is associated with a particular code. A controller receives request signals and in response generates dispense signals. Each bin includes a dispenser coupled to the controller for dispensing the packaged pharmaceuticals therefrom in response to a dispense signal sent from the controller. After a package is dispensed, a code reader determines the code of the dispensed package and verifies whether the code on the dispensed package matches the code of the requested package.Type: GrantFiled: April 11, 2003Date of Patent: November 9, 2004Assignee: Telepharmacy Solutions, Inc.Inventors: Harold J. Liff, Brian T. Hart, Robert L. Wallace, Arthur A. Berube, Richard D. Hart, Enea W. Bossi

Publication number: 20040120470Abstract: An equivalent working length (EWL) determinative system (11) for use in a digital subscriber line (DSL) telecommunication network (10) is provided. The EWL system (11) includes a DSL circuit (32) having a customer site (14) with customer premises equipment (30). The customer premises equipment (30) receives and transmits communication signals and generates a first attenuation signal in response to the communication signals. A remote terminal (20) forms a loop (31) with the customer site (14) and has a loop length. The remote terminal (20) includes a remote terminal transceiver (40) that is in communication with the customer premises equipment (30). A main controller (37) is electrically coupled to the customer premises equipment (30) and determines an EWL of the loop (31) in response to the first attenuation signal. A method of performing the same is also provided.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 23, 2002Publication date: June 24, 2004Applicant: SBC Properties, L.P.Inventors: G. Keith Cambron, David L. Publication number: 20030178801Abstract: An inventive wheelbarrow incorporating two inline wheels, front and rear, for supporting the weight of the wheelbarrow and any load placed thereon, is disclosed. The two inline wheels are preferably identical and can be interchanged between front and rear and can be fitted with a sprocket, or drive pulley, which, in turn, communicates with a motor through a drive belt or chain. The motor can be fuel or electric and can include a power-take-off (PTO) option for powering a number of exterior appliances such as a power generator or a water pump. The inventive wheelbarrow also includes a handle elevating feature which allows the handles to be raised or lowered, depending on operator preferences. By raising the handles, the load is supported on the inline wheels and not on the shoulders and arms of the operator. With the weight supported on the inline wheels, the operator's main function is to balance the load as the wheelbarrow travels forward.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 11, 2003Publication date: September 25, 2003Inventor: Richard D.
