  • Publication number: 20240095372
Abstract: Systems and techniques for offline platform information technology cyber-physical risk mitigation are described herein. System configuration data may be obtained for a platform information technology (PIT) computing system. A system model may be generated for the PIT computing system using the system configuration data. An attack path and mitigation data set may be generated from vulnerability and mitigation data. A risk profile may be generated for the PIT computing system by evaluating the attack path and mitigation data set using the system model. A security mitigation action may be automatically triggered based on a vulnerability detected in the risk profile.

  • Publication number: 20130177480
Abstract: A self-contained, remotely interrogatable, autonomously positionable, pressure probe (20) set from which the volume fraction of a gaseous target-analyte (VA) in a mass, susceptible to changes in both total pressure of the mass (PT) and concentration of target-analyte in the mass (VA), can be ascertained, and methods of manufacturing and using. The probe set includes (i) a first probe (21) comprises an optically-active, target-analyte partial pressure sensitive material (31) configured and arranged to experience changes in PA in the mass, whereby the first probe can report PA in the mass, and (ii) a second probe (22) comprises an optically-active, PA-sensitive material constrained to experience changes in PT without experiencing changes in the VA, whereby the second probe can report PT of the mass.

  • Publication number: 20070075447
Abstract: A method and system are disclosed for dispersing gas bubbles in a multiphase mixture in a production tubing in an crude oil production well or in a riser connected to such a well, by means of one or more bubble breaker assemblies in which a plurality of orifices are arranged that are located in a substantially eccentric position relative to a central axis of the tubing. The use of eccentric orifices promotes the breaking up of large gas bubbles into a large amount of smaller gas bubbles, which are finely dispersed in the fluid stream and only re-coalesce slowly into larger bubbles.
