  • Publication number: 20240028793
Abstract: A method of designing a grout material for an anchoring pile system based on the analysis of a stress state of the anchoring pile constructed into a subterranean formation. An advisory process can utilize a model to produce a numerical model of the anchoring pile, a model to determine the operational loads, a model to determine the grout material, and a model to determine the stress state of the grout interfaces. The group of models can determine a probability of failure of the grout material, a probability of failure of a grout interface, and a predicted lifespan of the grout materials.

  • Patent number: 11668153
Abstract: Methods and systems for modifying a plug container to permit a fiber pass-through allowing data to be communicated from a pressurized environment into a non-pressurized environment. The systems and methods including surrounding a communication line with a protective sheath coupled with a top plug and a cap of a plug container including an elongated body having a flow path therethrough. The cap including a pass-through for receiving the communication line and obtaining data corresponding to one or more wellbore conditions including at least a temperature, a pressure, and a top plug location.

  • Publication number: 20230055082
Abstract: A method of designing a cement pumping procedure of a wellbore isolation barrier with a design application receiving customer inputs comprising a plurality of wellbore data and a job objective. The design application can retrieve a cement pumping procedure from a data source comprising a series of sequential steps to achieve the job objective. The design application can load the customer inputs into the cement pumping procedure, access a database of best practices, calculate a probability score for achieving the job objective based on a model, and recommend modifying one or more steps of the cement pumping procedure with one or more best practices in response to the probability score being below a threshold.

  • Publication number: 20220010668
Abstract: A method of evaluating a stress state of a wellbore isolation barrier with an evaluation application receiving a data set, obtained from wellbore sensors, from a remote data source by one or more communication methods. The data set comprises periodic wellbore data indicative of the stress state of the wellbore isolation barrier. The evaluation application may determine a modeled stress state of the wellbore isolation barrier by evaluating a data set consisting of the received data. The evaluation application may generate an alert if the model stress state exceeds a user threshold.

  • Publication number: 20210238980
Abstract: Methods and systems for evaluating the effectiveness of a cementing process including a wellbore having a liner disposed therein to create a flow path and an annulus within the wellbore. A cementing tool positionable at the surface of the wellbore for pumping a cement composition through the liner. A plurality of sensors dispersed throughout the cement composition and capable of transmitting a location signal receivable via a fiber optic cable. A control facility communicatively coupled with the fiber optic cable having one or more processors which execute instructions including receiving location data from the plurality of sensors via the fiber optic cable, and evaluating the location of each of the sensors to determine the effectiveness of the cementing process.
