    Abstract: A flexible shaft coupling includes a pair of hubs connected to the shafts. Each hub has a series of peripherially spaced teeth with slots between the teeth. A grid joins the hubs and transmits torque therebetween. The grid is formed of a series of spaced, straight metal rungs held together at their ends by elastomer members.
