  • Publication number: 20210216640
Abstract: A cryptoprocessor may comprise processing logic configured to upon powering up of a management controller communicatively coupled to a processor of an information handling system and configured to provide management of the information handling system via management traffic communicated between the management controller and a dedicated management network external to the information handling system, preventing the management controller from booting, attempt to authenticate a primary executable code image stored in a primary memory and a backup image to the primary executable code image stored in a secondary memory, and responsive to at least one of the primary executable code image and the backup image being authenticated, allow the management controller to execute an authenticated image comprising one of the primary executable code image and the backup image.

  • Patent number: 5123409
Abstract: An emergency oxygen supply system is disclosed in which a oxygen tank and valve body are mounted on a bracket including a pin maintaining a valve within the valve body in a position blocking fluid flow from the tank to an oxygen mask. Flow of oxygen from the oxygen tank to the oxygen mask is automatically actuated upon removal of the tank and valve body from the bracket, since the pin remains with the bracket, and the valve no longer blocks fluid flow. The valve also provides pressure regulation to prevent overly high pressures from passing from the oxygen tank to the oxygen mask.

  • Patent number: 5028334
Abstract: Disclosed are processes for the selective extraction of tin from aqueous acidic solutions bearing tin and other metal cations. Branched tertiary phosphine oxides comprising at least two branches per alkyl group show higher extraction coefficients, E, for tin than other metals, e.g. zinc (III), iron (II), iron (III), copper (II) and lead (II). Novel compositions for selectively extracting tin comprising combinations of symmetrical branched phosphine oxides and unsymmetrical phosphine oxides are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 4721605
Abstract: A process for the extraction of metals selected from the group consisting of zinc (II), silver (I), cadmium (II), mercury (II), nickel (II), cobalt (II), and copper (II) from an aqueous solution containing, in addition to said metals, metals selected from the group consisting of calcium (II) and magnesium (II) is disclosed. The process comprises contacting the aqueous solution having an equilibrium pH within the range of about 0.2 to about 3 with an extractant. The extractant comprises an organic-soluble dithiophosphinic acid or ammonium, alkali or alkaline earth metal salt thereof represented by the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are the same or different and are selected from the group consisting of substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkoxyalkyl, alkylcycloalkyl, aryl, alkylaryl, aralkyl and cycloalkylaryl radicals having from about 2 to about 24 carbon atoms and X is either hydrogen or an ammonium, alkali or alkaline earth metal salt forming radical.
