    Abstract: A tarp apparatus operated from the cab of a vehicle has a tarp that is automatically moved to open and close the open top of a vehicle box. The tarp mounted on a pair of rails is moved with cables and pulleys powered with a motor driven shaft to open and closed positions. Lift units connected to the rails operate to move the rails and tarp to up and down positions relative to the vehicle box to allow the tarp to be freely moved to its open and closed positions.
