  • Patent number: 11438337
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for generating support user permissions to allow access to a cloud computing platform. In an embodiment, a host system may host a cloud computing platform and may provide access to the cloud computing platform to a tenant system. The tenant system may then facilitate access to the cloud computing platform to users. The tenant system may maintain a list of authorized users separate from the host system. In an embodiment, if the tenant system requests support from the host system to fix a problem, the host system is able to generate access for support users to access the cloud computing platform to troubleshoot the problem. In an embodiment, even though the tenant system maintains a separate list of authorized users, the host system is able to generate support user permissions.

  • Patent number: 8245436
Abstract: This invention includes a Remotely-operated Electronic Rotatable Decoy Stand designed to support and impart rotational motion to a male turkey decoy. The remotely-operated electronic rotatable decoy stand is removably coupled to a male turkey decoy and is controlled directly by a human observer through activation of an electronic emitting remote fob. When operated, the fob imparts a single signal to the rotatable decoy stand. Upon receipt of the signal, the rotatable decoy stand rotates the coupled decoy at a rotational speed equal to that of a male turkey when presenting and rotating in its natural strutting display. Bi-directional rotation of the decoy is dependent upon the signal direction chosen by the human observer. When positioned in a location likely to be observed by the turkey, the rotational motion provides a method of attracting turkeys.

The Rotatable Decoy Stand may be coupled to other animal decoy forms and is not limited to the male turkey decoy.

  • Patent number: 6782206
Abstract: A multi-port optical node is disclosed. The optical node is configured to send and receive optical and radio frequency data signals over a data distribution network. The data signals enter and exit the node through cables connected to ports of the main housing of the node. The main housing has a plurality of slots configured to accept a plurality of electronic modules. The electronic modules provide the basic functionality of the optical node including the power supply and transmitters and receivers for sending, receiving and converting of data signals. The electronic modules are approximately all the same size thus they can occupy any of the slots of the main housing. The modules further can be monitored and controlled via a serial system bus.

  • Publication number: 20020118425
Abstract: A system and method for receiving and transmitting data signals over an optical receiver module with fiber path redundancy and narrowcast operation. An optical receiver receives the data transmitted over a network of fiber cables. The optical receiver includes a plurality of photodiodes for converting the optical signal to a RF signal and for sensing the quality of the optical signal. When the quality of the signal is determined to be outside a threshold range, one of the plurality of photodiodes sends an alarm signal monitored by a module microcontroller connected to the optical receiver module. Additionally, the alarm signal is sent to a remote operator. The module microcontroller analyzes the alarm signal and outputs a logical command stored in the memory of the module microcontroller to switch via a RF relay switch, the optical-to-RF path. The logical commands include redundant and narrowcast service path switching logic.
