  • Patent number: 6012596
Abstract: An adaptor cap for a container. The adaptor cap includes a skirt constructed to engage a fluid container and to retain the adaptor cap on the fluid container. The adaptor cap further includes a dome projecting outwardly from said skirt. The dome defines an interior chamber. The dome further defines a spike port providing fluid communication between the chamber and an exterior environment of the dome, the spike port being constructed to receive and retain a hollow spike therein. The dome also defines at least one vent aperture therethrough, the vent aperture providing fluid communication between the chamber and the exterior environment of the dome. The adaptor cap further includes a microbial filter mounted on the dome across the vent aperture.

  • Patent number: 5060814
Abstract: A unitary container for packaging multiple product samples has a front panel and two rear panels which are hingedly attached to the front panel. The two panels may be mechanically retained in a preferred relationship with respect to the front panel and one another by protrusions in one panel that extend through apertures in another panel. The panels are configured such that the container has several compartments for holding product samples.

  • Patent number: 4192421
Abstract: An improved cushion pad is disclosed for use in packaging glassware or other fragile articles in a compartmented carton. Such cartons, including the well known corrugated fiberboard cartons, are used with vertical dividers for packaging articles having extending extremities such as glass stemware, whose projecting feet and flaring tops may project into adjacent compartments and engage and chip or crack one another. The cushions of this invention have preformed grooves to receive the tops and bottoms of the dividers causing the extremities of the articles to be positioned away from the spaces between dividers thereby preventing them from striking one another during carton handling.

  • Patent number: 3951259
Abstract: A package is described for storing, shipping, displaying, and serving articles such as glass or plastic tumblers. The package is formed of molded plastic sections including a base, a top, and a handle. The preferred base is adapted to receive the bottoms of pairs of tumblers in cups positioned on opposite sides of a central panel so that the package will accommodate a number of pairs of articles in the assembled base and a snap-on top. A handle is slidably mounted in the top for movement between a recessed position and a raised package carrying position.
