  • Patent number: 11545997
Abstract: A binary-coded structure document, (e.g., in an EXI format which is based on a structure document designed in a text-based description language, such as XML), is provided with a binary-coded index document, which is based on a structural part of the structure document. A storage representation of the binary-coded index document is stored in a working storage unit of the device, and the binary-coded structure document is stored in a background storage unit assigned to the device. A processing operation or a request by at least one processing process is carried out by accessing the storage representation of the binary-coded index document via an object interface, and in certain examples, fragments of the binary-coded structure document are loaded into the working storage unit by the object interface.

  • Patent number: 10461578
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for optimizing the distribution of electrical energy in an electrical power supply system which includes autonomous supply system regions, including the method steps of: —receiving input data by at least two dispatcher instances, wherein the input data represents energy intervals which are requested by the autonomous supply system regions; —calculating at least one solution of the distribution of electrical energy to the supply system regions by each of the at least two dispatcher instances; —selecting one of the calculated solutions for the distribution of electrical energy in the power supply system by a leader election. The disclosed relates to the technical field of distributing electrical energy and can be used, for example, for smart grids.

  • Patent number: 10251153
Abstract: A communication device includes a transceiver unit for receiving from a central installation a broadcast message containing information for initiating communication between the communication device and the central installation, and a control unit for selecting a hardware address for the communication device in response to the information contained in the broadcast message. The selected hardware address can be used for addressing the communication device for messages from the central installation. The transceiver unit is designed to communicate with the central installation using the selected hardware address for the duration of a session. The control unit is designed to delete the selected hardware address after the duration of the session has expired. Selecting a hardware address randomly and deleting the hardware address after the session has expired allows communication between the communication device and the central installation, while maintaining the identity of the communication device anonymous.

  • Patent number: 9577434
Abstract: The present invention relates to methods and apparatuses for allocating amounts of energy for prosumers, wherein the prosumers provide minimum and maximum amounts of energy for a future interval of time and the respective amounts of energy from the prosumers are generated in such a manner that, on the one hand, a relative position of the amount of energy within an interval for the particular prosumer, as defined by the minimum amount of energy and the maximum amount of energy, assumes an identical value for all prosumers and, on the other hand, a sum of the amounts of energy from all prosumers produces a value of zero. The invention can be used in the distribution of amounts of energy in a power supply system having conventional energy producers and energy consumers as well as in novel participants in the power supply system which can both consume and provide energy, for example an electric vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20160344234
Abstract: The invention relates to methods and systems for optimizing the distribution of electrical energy in an electrical power supply system (I) which comprises autonomous supply system regions (5, 6, 7, 8, 9), comprising the method steps of:—receiving input data (II) by at least two dispatcher instances (5a, 7a), wherein the input data (II) represents energy intervals (5i, 6i, 7i, 8i, 9i) which are requested by the autonomous supply system regions (5, 6, 7, 8, 9);—calculating at least one solution (5s, 7s) of the distribution of electrical energy to the supply system regions (5, 6, 7, 8, 9) by each of the at least two dispatcher instances (5a, 7a);—selecting one of the calculated solutions (5s, 7s) for the distribution of electrical energy in the power supply system (I) by means of a leader election. • Publication number: 20140337522
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for filtering network data in a network node, comprising the steps of producing filter markings in a grammatical structure of network data encoded by means of an encoding scheme on the basis of adjustable filter inquiries of at least one further network node, producing a filter mask on the basis of the filter markings, receiving a data flow encoded by means of the encoding scheme in the network node, filtering the data flow by means of the filter mask, and forwarding the filtered encoded data flow to the at least one further network node.
