  • Patent number: 7373762
Abstract: A multi-functional building assembly includes a plurality of elongated studs, each of the studs including a recessed notch defined in axially extending fashion along first and second opposite extending surfaces. A plurality of elongated and planar shaped panels include extending edges which match in configuration that of each of the notches and in order that a selected panel is secured to a selected stud. A plurality of the studs and panels are engaged in end-to-end extending fashion to construct at least one of a wall and a corner detail.

  • Publication number: 20030226329
Abstract: An adapter element particularly suited for interconnecting a first stud to an angularly extending end of a further metal stud. The adapter element includes a three dimensional configuration defining, in cross section, a substantially rectangular shape with first, second, third and fourth interconnected sides, a top and a bottom. The top is further recessed in three dimensional fashion and to facilitate the installation of fasteners adapted to secure the adapter element to a selected face of the first stud. An additional plurality of fasteners are adapted to engage the extending end of the metal stud to over the interconnecting sides of the insert and upon the metal stud being slidably engaged over the insert.

  • Patent number: 6330775
Abstract: A prefabricated structure for use in constructing a building wall including a first elongated joist extending horizontally and secured a ceiling of the structure and a second elongated joist secured to a floor of the structure and extending in horizontally and in parallel spaced apart fashion from the first joist. Each of the first and second joists including a parallel extending and opposing face with a recessed channel formed therein. A plurality of elongate and planar boards, each substantially rectangular in shape, include first, second, third and fourth edges. The edges define in combination a first face and a second opposite face spaced from the first face by a determined thickness. A first selected edge of each planar board securing in extending fashion within the recessed channel of the first joist and a further selected and parallel extending edge securing within the recessed channel of the second joist.

  • Patent number: 6240865
Abstract: A multi-purpose sailing kit assembly including at least one, and preferably two separate hulls. Each of the hulls further includes first and second elongated, buoyant and self-contained halves which are pivotally secured together along a longitudinal direction. Each of the pairs of hull halves further include first and second longitudinal and perpendicularly extending planar surfaces such that the halves may be converted from a first cross sectional profile to a second cross sectional profile. Coupling mechanisms are provided for engaging within selectively formed circular openings in the planar surfaces of the hull halves and locking engage the hull halves together in the desired cross sectional profile. A frame is provided and secures first and second convertible hulls together in a spaced manner or, alternatively, supports outriggers in a spaced manner relative to a single hull.
