  • Publication number: 20220133573
Abstract: An armrest assembly is disclosed herein. The armrest assembly includes a main body with a proximal adjustment assembly disposed at a first end and a distal adjustment assembly disposed at a second end. The proximal adjustment assembly provides for adjustment of the main body about a first axis. The distal adjustment assembly provides for adjustment of an arm pad about a second axis as well as a third axis. To prevent damage, a breakaway assembly is provided by the distal adjustment assembly to unlock the arm pad from a raised position and lower it into a lower position in the event a weight applied to the arm pad is beyond a particular weight threshold.

  • Patent number: 9079448
Abstract: A method for planning a project including accessing a worksheet with a list area and instruction indicia. The instruction indicia cues a user to write project-related information in the list area for at least two phases of a project, and the project-related information includes at least one of a time interval or a finish date for each project phase. The method includes writing project-related information in the list area of the worksheet and accessing a plurality of labels that each include project-related indicia. A label is selected that pertains to at least one phase of the project, and the label is secured to a date-range document at a location on the date-range document that correlates with the time interval or the finish date of the respective phase of the project.

  • Patent number: 5357803
Abstract: The present invention relates to a microaccelerometer employing a single free-mass and capable of measuring acceleration along three coordinate axes, and a process for fabricating through micromachining and microelectronic techniques a microaccelerometer employing a free-mass. A microaccelerometer preform is constructed by chemically coating and etching a silicon wafer to form a support member and a free-mass surrounded by the member. The free-mass is movable with respect to, but constrained by the silicon support member. Acceleration measurements are obtained by circuits which sense changes in the position of the free-mass with respect to an equilibrium position, induced by a change in the rate of acceleration of the accelerometer, and the electromagnetic force required to restore the free-mass to its equilibrium position.

  • Patent number: 4594127
Abstract: Method and apparatus for suspending a seed crystal over a fixed crucible containing a melt from a rotary and axially operable vertically disposed drive adaptor comprising the steps of forming a tubular receptacle adapted to be detachably secured at its upper end coaxially to the adapter, and having an internal bore formed therein with an internal step near its lower end for supporting the seed. The seed is formed in the shape of a cylinder of a diameter to pass axially through the stepped bore of the receptacle and having its upper end conically tapered downwardly and inwardly from the upper end thereof. A split sleeve is formed to be receivable downwardly within the internal bore of the tubular receptacle except as limited by the internal steps of the bore of the receptacle. The sleeve has an internal conical taper complimentary to the taper of the upper end of the seed about which it is disposed before insertion of the seed and sleeve within the bore of the receptacle.

  • Patent number: 4465550
Abstract: A method and apparatus for slicing solid materials, such as silicon, germanium, glass, ceramics, gallium arsenide, etc. by reactive chemicals which are carried to the workpiece by a travelling flexible member such as a wire or cable. More particularly, the invention relates to a method and apparatus for slicing ingots of the above-mentioned substances into wafers for use in the fabrication of integrated circuit, solar cells and the like. The reactive chemical preferably is a molten salt which reacts with the semiconductive material, and the flexible member is preferably electrically conductive and heated by passing a current through such member to ensure that the salt is reactive only at the location of contact of such flexible member with the ingot being sliced.
