  • Publication number: 20190303311
Abstract: A device may include a plurality of data processing engines. Each data processing engine may include a core and a memory module. Each core may be configured to access the memory module in the same data processing engine and a memory module within at least one other data processing engine of the plurality of data processing engines.

  • Patent number: 9778905
Abstract: A system includes an integrated circuit coupled to the memory. The integrated circuit is configured to receive first and second complex numbers at one or more data inputs. A first value is determined using a first set of product arrays of a first real number multiplier. A second value is determined using a second set of product arrays of the first real number multiplier and a third set of product arrays of a second real number multiplier. A third value is determined using a fourth set of product arrays of the second real number multiplier. A real value of a first product of the first complex number times a second complex number is determined using the first value and the second value. An imaginary value of the first product is determined using the second value and the third value.

  • Patent number: 9081634
Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed. This apparatus includes a digital signal processing (“DSP”) block having a preadder-register block coupled to receive first through fourth input operands. A multiplier is coupled to the preadder-register block to receive a multiplicand operand and a multiplier operand. A first register block is coupled to the multiplier to receive sets of partial products from the multiplier. A second register block coupled to receive the third operand input. An arithmetic logic unit (“ALU”) block is coupled to the pre-adder-register block, the first register block and the second register block. The ALU block includes four input multiplexers and an ALU, where the ALU is coupled to receive outputs from each of the four input multiplexers.

  • Patent number: 8365109
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method of generating a circuit design is provided. For each data terminal connecting a plurality of components in a circuit design, a respective list of dimensions of data used by the data terminal are determined. A plurality of exchange orderings are generated that each indicate an order in which dimensions are exchanged between the lists. For each exchange ordering, dimensions are exchanged between the lists according to the exchange ordering to produce a set of supplemented lists of dimensions. A set of buffers for buffering data between the data terminals are determined based on the supplemented lists of dimensions. Memory requirements are determined for each of the set of buffers. The circuit design is modified to include the one of the determined sets of buffers having a lowest memory requirement.
