  • Patent number: 11086278
Abstract: Systems and methods for monitoring an operational system. A data set with output power values and associated environmental data values for an electrical generation system are accumulated. Statistical relationships are determined for output power values and environmental data values. Outlying data is determined based on the statistical relationships and are removed from the data set to create selected data. A regression model is developed from the selected data to map predicted output power values to values of environmental data. Data with present output power values and present associated environmental data for the electrical generation system are later received. Predicted output power values are predicted by the regression model for the present associated environmental data. An output power discrepancy is identified by comparing the predicted output power to the present output power. A notification of an anomaly is provided based on identification of the output power discrepancy.

  • Publication number: 20080084590
Abstract: Bracket assemblies are disclosed for securing one or more flags on a motorcycle. In one embodiment, the bracket assembly mounts to the backrest of a motorcycle and includes opposing plate members which fasten together, with the backrest sandwiched between the plate members. Rubber gaskets and spacers between the plate members prevent damage to the backrest. One or more receptacles, each sized and configured for supported receipt of the lower end of a flagpole therein, are provided on the bracket assembly. The receptacles may either be fixed to the bracket assembly (e.g. by welding, bolts or screws) or integrally formed with the opposing plate members. In another embodiment, the bracket assembly includes a license plate mount, with one or more flagpole receptacles, for attachment to the rear fender of a motorcycle. In yet another embodiment of the invention, individual flagpole receptacles are structured for mounting to either the side or top of the rear fender on a motorcycle.

  • Patent number: 6158164
Abstract: A fishing bobber for releasable attachment to fishing line comprising a forward and a rearward portion forming a buoyant member with an elongated staff on a forward end and an aerodynamic fairing on a rearward end with all elements aligned along a longitudinal axis. There is present an integral weight cast into the forward portion. Both portions and the weight are cast from similar material in a common mold. The bobber is provided with weight and an aerodynamic form to promote casting distance. The bobber assumes a horizontal position upon the surface of the water and is capable of accepting metallic lures of minimal weight while remaining in a horizontal attitude on the water, thereby maintaining a high degree of sensitivity inherent in a fishing bobber of elongated design.
