  • Patent number: 7401716
Abstract: An adjustable shelf system includes a shelf capable of being moved from a first position slidably mounted within a first pair of track members to a second position slidably mounted within a second pair of track members without being completely removed from said first and second pair of track members. A method is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20040050889
Abstract: The cargo management device (24) includes a frame having a pair of parallel support beams extending between a first and second end. The frame may be made of multiple frame portions that are attached to each other using hinges or other like mechanisms. The frame also has a plurality of cross beams extending between the pair of parallel support beams. A plurality of securing devices allows articles to be attached or secured to the frame between the frame and the vehicle floor (18). The cargo management device (24) also includes an attachment mechanism attaching the frame to the two opposing sidewalls (12,14) of the motor vehicle spaced apart from the vehicle floor (18) so that the articles being stored may he suspended from the frame or organized using netting and the like.

  • Patent number: 6024599
Abstract: A grommet adapted to be placed through an aperture in a work surface, such as a desk. A lip, with a diameter larger than the aperture in the work surface, is located at the top of the housing, or body of the grommet, so that the lip rests over the aperture in the desk while the housing of the grommet passes through the aperture, so that the great majority of the grommet lies below the surface of the work surface. The grommet contains a plurality of electrical plugs or duplex receptacles and a plurality of modular couplers for communication terminals so that power or communications wires may be passed over the top of the grommet and down into the housing to be connected inside of the grommet. The grommet has a power wire and communication connection wires connected to the bottom of the grommet, for connection to a power source, such as a wall plug, and a communication source, such as a telephone plug.

  • Patent number: 5810459
Abstract: A stackable modular cabinet having modular, interlocking side units which allow cabinet dimensions to be tailored both vertically and laterally to user needs while also providing the strength and stability to support heavy equipment such as electronic subassemblies. Each side unit has a pair of mating flanges with apertures for receiving and retaining fastening pins that interlock to the fastening pins of a different side unit when the respective flanges of the two side units mate. The interlocked fastening pin structure forms unified rods which extend the full height of the cabinet and which cooperates with the intervening side unit flanges. Each side unit further has re-enforced, double-sided bracket structures at opposing ends which, in combination with the pin structure, provides an unusual amount of strength to the modular cabinet.

  • Patent number: 4669029
Abstract: The present disclosure describes a housing module characterized in that it may be readily slid onto a counter-like unit which provides support therefor. The module finds particular application in the housing of electrical components, wherein the latter may be located either in a tray-like section disposed on the surface of the counter-like unit or in a box-like enclosure, below the unit. The components are electrically connected and communicate with one another via cables which are routed within the module and which may be pre-wired, thereby eliminating cable through-holes in the unit.
