  • Patent number: 8322067
Abstract: A firearm steady-rest which is incorporated as part of a rifle sling. The steady-rest may be a single support arm or a folded support arm system deployed by folding it outward to provide either a V-shaped support configuration or a U-shaped support configuration whereby the upwardly extending distal ends of the support engage and support the firearm therebetween. The steady-rest may be grasped by the operator's forward extending hand to provide maximum steadying of the firearm for sighting and shooting. A gravity deploying bi-pod leg set is also provided which automatically locks into position when fully deployed by a gravity slide lock.

  • Patent number: 8176670
Abstract: A firearm steady-rest which is provided in a folded storage form which is incorporated as part of a rifle sling. The steady-rest may be deployed by folding it outward to provide either a V-shaped support configuration or a U-shaped support configuration whereby the upwardly extending distal ends of the support engage and support the firearm therebetween. The steady-rest may then be grasped by the operator's forward extending hand to provide maximum steadying of the firearm for sighting and shooting. • Patent number: 8024883
Abstract: A firearm support for a firearm having an elongate sling extending along the firearm with two opposite ends attached in spaced relationship to the firearm between a stock end and a barrel end. The firearm support includes a support attachment in the form of clamp which may be secured to the sling at a desired position therealong. At least one support leg is pivotally secured to the support attachment and depends from the attachment whereby the leg may be pivoted from a storage position with the at least one leg extending along in alignment with the sling, to a deployed position at an angle relative to the sling for engaging a ground surface with a distal end of the at least one leg. The attachment for the shooting support is also provided with a forearm rest surface positioned on the side of the sling that faces the firearm for supporting the firearm thereon when the leg or legs are deployed.

  • Publication number: 20080034475
Abstract: A cover for a conventional baseball cap which has a dome-shaped crown with a visor protruding from the front peripheral edge of crown. The cover is a dome-shaped fabric dimensioned to overly the baseball cap crown and it is provided with peripheral skirts extending from the side edge of the cover for folding upwardly into the crown of the cap and around the internal peripheral headband in the crown for securing the cover to the baseball cap. The cover is also preferably provided with a split rear portion for permitting the cover to adjust in size to the adjustable crown of the baseball cap. A rear split skirt may also be provided which depends from the split rear portion of the cover for folding upwardly into the crown and securing it to itself within and through the rear open segment of the baseball cap crown. The cover would typically be of a blaze orange color for use by hunters.
