Patent number: 8287316Abstract: A contact sub-assembly is provided for an electrical connector. The contact sub-assembly includes a printed circuit and an array of mating contacts. Each mating contact includes a terminating end portion and a mating interface. The contact sub-assembly also includes an array of circuit contacts that is discrete from the array of mating contacts. Each circuit contact is engaged with and electrically connected to the printed circuit. Each circuit contact is separably engaged with and electrically connected to the terminating end portion of a corresponding one of the mating contacts such that the array of circuit contacts electrically connects the array of mating contacts to the printed circuit.Type: GrantFiled: June 20, 2011Date of Patent: October 16, 2012Assignee: Tyco Electronics CorporationInventors: Paul John Pepe, Steven Richard Popp

Publication number: 20070062126Abstract: The present invention provides a playstation kit including a container defining an interior space. The interior space has a length dimension of no more than about 61 inches. The kit also includes a plurality of pre-cut boards positioned in the interior space of the container. Each of the boards has a length dimension of no more than the length dimension of the interior space. A method of selling a playstation kit also includes providing at least one container defining an interior space, providing a plurality of pre-cut boards in the interior space of the at least one container, and instructing the consumer to provide a plurality of boards not included in the at least one container.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 22, 2005Publication date: March 22, 2007Applicant: PlayStar, Inc.Inventors: Brian Zeilinger, Richard Popp

Publication number: 20060191460Abstract: A pipe sleeve assembly includes a base plate and a sleeve portion. The base plate includes a base portion defining a longitudinal axis. The base plate further includes a first flange extending from the base portion in a first direction generally normal to the longitudinal axis and lying in a first plane. The base plate also includes a second flange extending from the base portion in the first direction, spaced from the first flange in a second direction generally parallel to the longitudinal axis, and lying in a second plane spaced from the first plane. The sleeve portion includes a body portion and a third flange extending from the body portion in the first direction. A fastener stud extends from the second flange and is received in an aperture in the third flange to secure the sleeve portion to the base plate.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 25, 2005Publication date: August 31, 2006Applicant: PlayStar, Inc.Inventors: Brian Zeilinger, Richard Popp

Publication number: 20060079379Abstract: A climbing panel includes a body that is curved about an axis at a non-constant radius of curvature. The body has first and second end portions and is configured for use such that one of the first and second end portions is supported by a support surface and the other of the first and second end portions is coupled to an elevated support structure. The body is reversible between a first orientation, where the first end is adjacent the support surface and the second end is coupled to the elevated support structure and extends to a first mounting height, and a second orientation, where the second end is adjacent the support surface and the first end is coupled to the elevated support structure and extends to a second mounting height that is different from the first mounting height.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 8, 2004Publication date: April 13, 2006Applicant: PlayStar, Inc.Inventors: Brian Zeilinger, Richard Popp

Publication number: 20050215895Abstract: Devices and methods for obtaining a three-dimensional image of an internal body site are provided. The subject devices are elongated structures (e.g., catheters) having a plurality of ultrasonic transducers located at their distal end. The configuration of the plurality of ultrasonic transducers may be reversibly changed from a first to a second configuration, where the radial aperture of the plurality of ultrasonic transducers is greater in the second configuration than in the first configuration. A feature of certain embodiments of the subject invention is that the plurality of ultrasonic tranducers are configured in the second configuration as a substantially continuous set of transducers. In using the subject imaging devices, the distal end of the devices is positioned at the internal body site of interest while the plurality of ultrasonic transducers is in the first configuration.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 10, 2004Publication date: September 29, 2005Inventors: Richard Popp, Ali Hassan, Christian Eversull, Jeremy Johnson, Paul Yock

Publication number: 20030216678Abstract: A method for inducing vascular remodeling and related methods for treating patients having diseased vasculature. The method of inducing remodeling of the vascular system includes altering the blood flow dynamics in portions of the vascular system via mechanical mechanisms. Remodeling of certain coronary vasculature may be induced by creating a passage in a heart wall between a heart chamber and a blood vessel so as to permit blood flow communication, for example, direct blood flow communication, between the chamber and the vessel. A method of inducing vascular remodeling may include providing a blood flow passage between a heart chamber and the coronary vessel, or other flow dynamics altering structure, such that enlargement of at least a portion of the coronary vessel occurs.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 17, 2003Publication date: November 20, 2003Inventors: Keith March, Richard Popp, Peter Fitzgerald, Patrick Cahalan, Daniel Burkhoff, Laurence Roth, Nancy Briefs, William Santamore, Robert Swain, Peter Boekstegers, Vincent Pompili

Patent number: 5379546Abstract: A bed divider comprises a tubular separation member and a thin flange. The flange is joined to the tubular separation member and is tangent thereto. The flange is cut transversely with several scissors cuts or notches to create a number of tabs. Adjacent tabs can be overlapped along the separation member to enable the side of the separation member adjacent the tabs to be bent into a concave curve. In a modified embodiment, a short neck is interposed between the flange and the separation member. The neck lies in a plane that is at an angle to the plane of the flange and that passes toward the longitudinal centerline of the separation member. The bed divider is installed by laying the flange horizontally on the ground and staking it in place.Type: GrantFiled: July 30, 1992Date of Patent: January 10, 1995Inventor: Richard Popp
