Abstract: A system to permit a user-friendly approach to determine and access the portions of a program code associated with respective web page components is described. In one example embodiment, a method and system to maintain a web page may be utilized advantageously to permit users to navigate directly from content strings in a web page to the master text content. The mapping embedded in a web page allows a JavaScript embedded in the web page to pop-up an editing window such that a change to the text in the web page performed by a user may be communicated to the server-side content management system for review and acceptance.
