  • Publication number: 20240101273
Abstract: A system includes at least one camera implemented in an aircraft, the at least one camera configured to capture images external to the aircraft. The system further includes at least one processor implemented in the aircraft, one or more of the at least one processor communicatively coupled to the at least one camera, the at least one processor configured to: receive the images from the at least one camera; identify visual references in at least one of the images; and output an annunciation instruction configured to cause an annunciation to a pilot that the visual references have been identified by the at least one processor.

  • Patent number: 5482463
Abstract: To prevent loosening of screw joints for dental implant component stacks, a spring washer is placed directly beneath the head of a gold screw in a circular channel of a gold cylinder. Other joints such as between the gold cylinder and its abutment and between the abutment and the fixture can also be equipped with spring washers.

  • Patent number: 5344318
Abstract: An intramobile element for dental implants that includes an elastic, flat, circular washer having rounded edges, being 0.75 mm in height and designed to fit neatly on existing abutments and a prosthesis that comprises a gold member to which a porcelain cover is cast. The gold member has a cylindrical head with an internal cradle to precisely support a gold retaining screw with a rounded head and a screw channel spaced from the screw threads to allow for rotation of the prosthesis and making use of existing specific length abutments to control placement of the washer either supragingivally for hygienic reasons or supragingivally for esthetic reasons.

  • Patent number: 5336090
Abstract: Specially designed healing caps with varied bottom surfaces and different shaped channels and diverse shaped lockwashers for obviating loosening of the healing cap when screwed into an implant fixture. The healing cap has a retaining screw separate from the cap body and the combination of healing cap and lockwasher also prevents breakage of the cap body or fixture or both due to excessive torque and prevents gingiva from growing over the fixture at any point.

  • Patent number: 4295277
Abstract: The invention provides a method and apparatus for rapid and accurate stylus overhang positioning and tangential alignment with respect to a turntable. Accordingly a stylus locater plate having an aperture and a stylus positioning mark spaced therefrom is mounted on the spindle of a turntable. A pivot arm is connected to the locater plate on the other side of said spindle from the stylus positioning mark. The pivot arm and thus the locater plate, are then rotated around the spindle until such arm crosses over the pivot axis of the stylus arm of the turntable, to locate the mark in the turntable. The stylus arm is then pivoted toward the mark and the stylus cartridge is adjusted in the stylus arm to position the stylus in registration with such mark. The locater plate is further provided with lines near such mark to guide the angular positioning of the stylus cartridge into a tangential alignment with the record grooves at such mark.
