  • Patent number: 11362444
Abstract: An electrical connector and associated terminal are disclosed for making an electrical connection to a wire. The terminal includes a plurality of metal plates adjoining each other to form a stack that defines a passage for receiving the wire. The plates include a plurality of cutter plates disposed between a pair of outer holding plates. Each of the cutter plates has a pair of cutting edges for disrupting any insulation on the wire to permit a conductor of the wire to directly contact the cutter plate. One or more of the cutter plates may have a contact projection for making an electrical connection. The connector includes the terminal and may further include a housing. The holding plates of the terminal have outer edges with abutment features for engaging interior surfaces of the housing.

  • Publication number: 20220162140
Abstract: A process (100) for the production of linear alpha-olefins is proposed, wherein ethylene is subjected to catalytic oligomerization (1) in a feed mixture to obtain a product mixture containing alpha-olefins with different chain length and side compounds. In a primary fractionation (2), a primary fraction is formed using at least part of the product mixture, and in a secondary fractionation (4), a secondary fraction is formed using at least part of the primary fraction. The primary fractionation (2) and the secondary fractionation (4) are carried out such that the primary fraction and the secondary fraction predominantly contain one of the alpha-olefins and are low in or free of other alpha-olefins, that the primary fraction contains one or more of the side compounds, and that the secondary fraction is depleted relative to the primary fraction in the one or more side compounds.

  • Patent number: 11165707
Abstract: In one embodiment, a process captures one or more features of an initiated application transaction within an application, and applies the one or more features to one or more application-based policies. In response to determining a policy trigger for the initiated application transaction based on applying the one or more features to the one or more application-based policies, the process may then obtain a network address associated with the application. Once the process maps the particular policy trigger from the one or more application-based policies to one or more corresponding network-based policies, then the process can instruct a network controller to apply the one or more corresponding network-based policies to the network address associated with the application, causing the network controller to configure a computer network to manage network traffic associated with the network address according to the one or more corresponding network-based policies.
