  • Publication number: 20110088310
Abstract: A fully adjustable, crawling insect bait station is provided that is sealable for use with liquid, gel or solid baits, and wherein movement of a cap relative to a base portion simultaneously dimensions both the insect access port(s) and an internal crawlspace at the top of the inner reservoir wall to a selected size for particular insects. The bait station of the present invention is distinct and significantly improved over prior bait stations in that there is no antechamber between the insect access port(s) and the inner bait reservoir where crawling insects may unproductively congregate. Once insects enter the bait station of the present invention they encounter a sloped access means that leads them directly over the inner reservoir wall to the poisoned bait.

  • Patent number: 7614519
Abstract: A sealing push-button lid for consumer wipes is disclosed. The lid may be used to seal a package of wipes for infant care, and may also be used for sealing and dispensing of one-at-a-time wipes for general cleaning purposes. The lid makes it easy for a busy person to use a single hand to pop open the lid in order to grasp and dispense the next wipe in a series of Z-folded wipes or inner-folded wipes in a preferably soft and flexible container. Containers with the push button lid may also be used with wipes that are folded in other ways. The lid is formed as one piece or two pieces, the pieces joined by a hinge that allows movement of the lid top with respect to the lid bottom. The lid is designed for easy joining and sealing to a container, preferably by a bead of hot melt adhesive or adhesive strips.

  • Patent number: 7503546
Abstract: A strap winder includes a base having a first strap end connecting structure; a ratchet wheel rotatably mounted in the base and having a second strap end connecting structure; and a handle pivotably mounted to the base and preferably engaging the ratchet member so that pivot of the handle in an opening movement, wherein the handle is moved away from the base, does not rotate the ratchet wheel, and wherein pivot of the handle in a closing movement, wherein the handle is moved toward the base, rotates the ratchet wheel. The strap winder is preferably made at least partially from plastic, and has characteristics which facilitate injection molding.

  • Patent number: 5025960
Abstract: The present invention relates to a dispenser for flowable material having a container with open and closed ends and a dispensing head with a product outlet mounted on the open end of the container. The flowable material, stored within the chamber defined by the container, is forced by a piston downwardly through the chamber and then upwardly through a hollow rod on which the piston is mounted, a tube extending from the dispensing head, and the product outlet. The threaded rod terminates at a cup which receives and is sealed by sealing surfaces of the tube, thereby providing a fluid coupling from the container to the dispensing head.
