    Abstract: A panel system for use on walls and roofs with alternating upper and lower panels, side by side, in a generally vertical orientation, the upper panels being mounted on a filler board with a notch formed at the base of the filler board on both vertical edges, the lower panel being locked into the notch and the vertical edges of the upper panels being folded over the edges of the lower panels to form a sealed joint and retain both panels in place.

    Abstract: An interlocking roof system of tiers of successively higher interlocking panels mounted on base members, each panel being held in place by protrusions fitted into notches in the base member of the next higher tier, the panels of each higher tier having a groove wrapped about and locked onto a lip of the adjacent lower panel, side lips and clips being used to connect adjacent panels located in the same horizontal tier. The base member of the lowest tier is mounted at its lowest edge on a riser along the lowest edge of the roof being covered and at its upper edge on the rafters of the roof being covered. The next lowest base member is located at its lowest edge along the upper edge of the adjacent lower base member and at its upper edge on the rafters.

    Abstract: A roof system and the method of producing same using rolls of material to provide continuous tiers or rows of roof covering over wood panels avoiding vertical roof seams. Plastic is first placed over the wood panels and then a metal cover such as aluminum or copper is applied. The wood panels are affixed to the structure beneath both the plastic strip and the metal cover. Each tier overlaps the upper edge of next lower tier. At the peak of the roof, a cap is provided with abutting wood members secured to the structure covered by a plastic sheet and with a metal member over the plastic sheet.
