  • Patent number: 11814045
Abstract: A vehicular control system determines a planned path of travel for a vehicle along a traffic lane in which the vehicle is traveling on a road. The system determines a respective target speed for waypoints along the planned path that represents a speed the vehicle should travel when passing through the respective waypoint. The system determines a speed profile for the vehicle to travel at as the vehicle travels along the planned path, with at least two different speeds being based on a difference in target speeds of at least two consecutive respective waypoints of the plurality of waypoints. The system determines an acceleration profile for the vehicle to follow as it changes from one speed to another speed of the speed profile. The system controls the vehicle to maneuver the vehicle along the planned path in accordance with the determined speed and acceleration profiles.

  • Patent number: 11453393
Abstract: A control system for a vehicle includes a control that determines a planned path of travel for the vehicle along a road being traveled by the vehicle and along a traffic lane in which the vehicle is traveling on the road. The control determines a speed profile for the vehicle along the planned path responsive at least in part to (i) detection of an object along the determined planned path of travel and (ii) determination of a speed limit change along the determined planned path of travel. The control controls the vehicle to maneuver the vehicle along the determined planned path of travel in accordance with the determined speed profile.

  • Patent number: 10137844
Abstract: A camera for a vision system of a vehicle includes a housing having a front housing portion and a rear housing portion and configured to be disposed at a vehicle so as to have a field of view interior or exterior of the vehicle. The camera includes a connector portion for electrically connecting circuitry of the camera to an electrical connector of the vehicle when the camera is disposed at the vehicle. The front housing portion houses a lens assembly. A MID (Molded Interconnect Device) frame includes electrically conductive traces and is integrated in the rear housing portion with circuit board connecting elements and connector connecting elements exposed at an inner surface of the rear housing portion. The connector portion includes terminals that contact respective exposed connector connecting elements of the MID frame to electrically connect the connector portion terminals to circuitry of the circuit board via the MID frame.

  • Patent number: 6634556
Abstract: An arrangement for and a method of reading bar code symbols on a target to move a light beam emitted by a light source in a multiple line, scan pattern during a scan period in a first operational mode. Upon selection of a second operational mode by a user, a controller intermittently operates and energizes the light source to emit the light beam for a working time period which is less than, and a fraction of, the scan period to generate a single scan line across the symbol.
