  • Patent number: 10058798
Abstract: An outlet well cover for use in an in-line grease interceptor is disclosed. The outlet well cover is fitted onto a hollow well extending upwardly from the bottom of the grease interceptor tank, and having an open top. The outlet well cover has at least one, and preferably two arms that extend outwards and define water passageways from the ends of the arms to the middle of the well. Water inflow openings at the ends of the arms allow clarified water to flow into the covered hollow well. The water inflow openings face generally downward to limit the amount of floating FOG material that can be drawn in through the openings. The well cover may also include a central bore adapted to receive a standard sized pipe. The pipe can be connected to an outlet from the tank.

  • Patent number: 8069621
Abstract: A ridge ventilator for covering an open ridge of a roof while promoting ventilation of a space beneath the roof. The ridge ventilator has a sectional body having a first side and a second side, a number of partitions extending across said body between said sides, as well as a first end and a second end. The vent body has a width between said sides to permit said body to be laid over and cover an open ridge in a roof formed at the peak. The body also includes a recessed middle portion in a top face of the body, the recess being sized and shaped to accommodate roofing cap shingles. The body also includes opposed raised and curved, in side view, air foil side sections; which have a grill to permit air to pass therethrough between a space beneath said roof and the outside, the air foil side sections being sized and shaped to create, in a wind passing over the air foil sections, a low pressure adjacent to the grill to facilitate drawing air out of the space.

  • Patent number: 8007016
Abstract: A riser kit for a grease interceptor having upwardly extending walls, an open top and a cover to close the open top. The riser kit comprises at least one collar extension having, a lower edge for engaging an upper edge of the upwardly extending walls of the grease interceptor, a middle portion forming an upward wall extension for the grease interceptor, and, a top edge sized and shaped to engage the cover to permit the cover to be secured to the extended grease interceptor. The riser kit also has a means to secure the collar extension to the grease interceptor. Also disclosed is a latch assembly for securing a cover onto a container, the latch assembly comprising a catch member secured to the container transverse to a container wall at an upper end thereof, a latch member pivotally mounted to the cover adjacent an edge thereof and positioned to register with the catch member.
