Abstract: An animal call having a first generator connected to a second sound generator. The second sound generator may be removably engaged to the first sound generator. The first sound generator and/or the second sound generator may be manually actuated. The first sound generator and/or the second sound generator may have a reed. Actuation causes the reed to vibrate thus producing a noise. The first sound generator may be actuated by turning the animal call over and back. The second sound generator may be actuated by forcing air through the second sound generator.

Abstract: A frictional-type game calling apparatus, wherein a striking plate is adapted to be frictionally contacted by a striker for reproducing the mating, gathering, and feeding calls of wild turkeys. The present apparatus and method allows for easy, one-handed operation, wherein the striker is held in constant contact with the striking plate, thereby allowing unrestricted use of the game call in any physical orientation.
