    Abstract: A rail track crossing comprising a support element (29) associated with each rail (11) of a rail track and configured to be supported from a sleeper (13) whereby the support element extends to each side of each rail, the support element having an engagement portion (31) which is to be at each side of the respective rail, a set of panels comprising a pair of lateral panels (37) and a central panel (39) wherein the central panel is to be received between the rails and supported upon the support elements and to be engaged by the engagement portions, the lateral panels being intended to be located to the sides of the rail track to be engaged with the engagement portion located at the respective side, wherein when the lateral panels and the central panel are in position their upper surfaces jointly provide a substantially continuous surface across the rail track.
