  • Publication number: 20240124571
Abstract: Provided is a substance capable of effectively suppressing cancer metastasis or a pharmaceutical composition that effectively acts on an inflammatory disease. The pharmaceutical composition is a pharmaceutical composition containing, as an active ingredient, an antibody or an antibody fragment thereof having antigen-binding activity for an S100A8/A9 heterodimer, and blocks interaction between S100A8/A9 and a group of receptors therefor, to thereby strongly suppress cancer metastasis both in vitro and in vivo, or alleviate inflammation. That is, the anti-S100A8/A9 antibody or the antibody fragment thereof can strongly suppress cancer metastasis or alleviate inflammation, by virtue of its blocking action on the interaction between S100A8/A9 and the group of receptors therefor.

  • Patent number: 6541657
Abstract: The present invention provides: an unsaturated carboxylate which has both an unsaturated group and a hydroxyl group, and is applicable to a wide range of crosslinking processes, and has moderate polymerizability, and has a novel specific structure; and a production process which enables to obtain this unsaturated carboxylate without causing the rearrangement of the carbon-carbon unsaturated bond of the raw unsaturated oxirane, and gives a high production ratio of unsaturated oxirane-1-mol adduct. A reaction of a specific unsaturated carboxylic acid with a specific unsaturated oxirane is carried out using at least one catalyst selected from the group consisting of chromium compounds, manganese compounds, iron compounds, nickel compounds, zinc compounds, silver compounds, tin compounds, neodymium compounds, and lead compounds, thereby obtaining an unsaturated carboxylate of general formula (1).

  • Patent number: 6335060
Abstract: The present invention provides a curable treating agent and a curing treatment process which provide excellent results with regard to any of heat resistance, water resistance, surface physical properties, and impregnability, and further, involve high productivity. The electron-beam-curable treating agent according to the present invention comprises a high boiling point resin in a ratio of not lower than 10 weight %, and is characterized in that the high boiling point resin includes a high boiling point radical-polymerizable component in a ratio of higher than 90 weight %, wherein the high boiling point radical-polymerizable component includes a specific acrylic derivative in a ratio of not lower than 5 weight %. The electron beam curing treatment process according to the present invention is characterized by comprising the step of irradiating a treating agent with an electron beam under specific conditions, wherein the treating agent includes a specific acrylic derivative.
