Abstract: The present invention provides a soybean jam that can increase the opportunities for consuming soybean, which is known as a health food, particularly in a Western style diet with few chances to eat them. The present invention also provides a method for manufacturing the soybean jam comprising the steps of manufacturing a soybean paste by grinding and kneading soybean grains after boiling, and forming a jam by mixing the soybean paste with other ingredients of the jam including pectin, sugar and organic acids followed by boiling down the mixture. The soybean jam obtains a large proportion of the soybean component.

Abstract: A disposable garment of pants type, such as a disposable diaper of pants type, is constructed by attaching respective leg-hole surrounding flaps and waist-hole surrounding flaps to respective opposite side edges extending longitudinally of a basic assembly for the garment which comprises at least a topsheet and a backsheet. The leg-hole surrounding flaps and the waist-hole surrounding flaps respectively cooperate to form a pair of leg-holes. A pair of shoulder straps can be easily prepared by making a slit which extends longitudinally of the garment on each waist-hole surrounding flap. A disposable garment of the present invention is featured in its simple construction and easy production.

The system tells the amounts of nutritive constituents of foods and the total amount of nutritive constituents of foods taken a day by arithmetic operations, and determines excessive or insufficient amounts of constituents by comparison between the total amount taken a day and the necessary amounts. A small, portable calculator is provided with an input section having a keyboard for giving necessary commands with alphabetic characters A to Z, the numerals 0 to 9, =, -, .times., .div., etc. to enter food items and the amounts of nutritive constituents. The portable calculator calculates the amounts of nutritive constituents of meals of the day, breakfast, lunch, supper and snack separately or in the aggregate. The excess/deficiency amounts of each nutrient is displayed in graphic forms, by symbols or animation.
