  • Patent number: 11096337
Abstract: An HVAC system used in a growing room to grow plants, including lighting and other heat producing pieces of equipment, wherein operating parameters are modified over time in response to and anticipation of changes in heat production by the lighting and other heat-producing pieces of equipment and moisture production from the plants and plant growing systems located in or near the growing room. The operating parameters of the system are modified during the growth cycle of the plants to provide environmental conditions appropriate to each phase of the plant growth. Additionally, the system comprises components carrying a load such that energy use can be reduced during times when less than maximum load is required. Algorithms and tables to control airflow, heating, cooling, dehumidification, and chemical composition of the air are included to maximize plant growth. CO2 and other byproducts of heating, cooling, and cogeneration are recycled for use in connection with plant growth.

  • Patent number: 11093119
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for generating and presenting engagement heatmaps. In one aspect, a method includes generating and providing, to a client device, an interactive interface that includes a session replay area that presents playback of user interfaces presented during a user session. A detection is made, based on interaction data received from the client device, of user interaction with an interface control for viewing engagement heatmaps. In response to detecting the user interaction with the interface control, playback is paused. The interactive interface is updated to present, for each of two or more user interface elements presented by the given user interface, an engagement heatmap visualization that visually represents a relative quantity of user interactions with the user interface element when the user interface element was presented by the given interface.

  • Publication number: 20210194497
Abstract: A variable output data rate converter circuit preferably meets performance requirements while keeping the circuit complexity low. In some embodiments, the converter circuit may include an oversampling sigma delta modulator circuit to quantize an analog input signal at an oversampled rate, and output an sigma delta modulated signal, a transposed polynomial decimator circuit to decimate the sigma delta modulated signal, and output a first decimated signal, and an integer decimator circuit to decimate the first decimated signal by an integer factor and output a second decimated signal having a desired output data rate. The transposed polynomial decimator circuit has a transposed polynomial filter circuit and a digital phase locked loop circuit, which tracks a ratio between a sampling rate of the first decimated signal and the oversampled rate, and outputs an intersample position parameter to the transposed polynomial filter circuit.

  • Patent number: 10964339
Abstract: Many processes for audio signal processing can benefit from voice activity detection, which aims to detect the presence of speech as opposed to silence or noise. The present disclosure describes, among other things, leveraging energy-based features of voice and insights on first and second formant frequencies of vowels to provide a low-complexity and low-power voice activity detector. A pair of two channels is provided whereby each channel is configured to detect voice activity in respective frequency bands of interest. Simultaneous activity detected in both channels can be a sufficient condition for determining that voice is present. More channels or pairs of channels can be used to detect different types of voices to improve detection and/or to detect voices present in different audio streams.

  • Publication number: 20210041591
Abstract: The present device and technique relates to measuring geological formation permeability, such as by injection/withdrawal of conductivity-permeability doped fluid and measuring the magnetic permeability and/or conductivity of the surrounding formation. Before, during and/or after injection or withdrawal, pluralities of electromagnetic measurements of the radial distribution of magnetic permeability and/or conductivity of the surrounding formation may be made. The rate of change of the radial distribution of magnetic permeability and/or conductivity of the formation is generally directly proportional to the permeability of the surrounding formation. In implementations, magnetic permeability and electrical conductivity can be measured independently in time domain or frequency domain, such that the magnetic permeability mapping is not disturbed by other confounding electromagnetic parameters.
