  • Publication number: 20210292016
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods to seal a container are provided. An apparatus for securing a film to a container includes a body portion to house film and a sealing portion. The sealing portion includes a loading zone to receive a portion of film from the body portion and an aperture to receive a top portion of the container and the portion of the film therethrough to enable positioning within a sealing volume. A plurality of near-infrared light emitting diodes (NIR LEDs) face toward and at least partially surround the top portion of the container when positioned within the sealing volume. A controller is configured to receive sensor input from a sensor indicating that the top portion of the container is within the sealing volume and cause, in response thereto, activation of the plurality of NIR LEDs to secure the portion of the film to the top portion of the container.

  • Patent number: 10286611
Abstract: A printing device includes a carriage slidably mounted on a carriage rail, the carriage to move along the carriage rail, and a selectable drive system includes a capping system to cap a number of pens coupled to the carriage, a scan drive system to drive components of a scanning device associated with the printing device, a drive selector assembly to select between driving the capping system to a printing system drive position or driving the scan drive system depending on a position of a selector swing arm of the drive selector assembly, and a shifter to selectively shift the drive selector assembly between a scanning system drive position of the selector swing arm and a printing system drive position of the selector swing arm.

  • Publication number: 20100295357
Abstract: A chest support that supports the weight of a user's torso, and more particularly an adjustable chest support that is operative to be adjusted by a user “hands free” (i.e., without the use of the hands). The angular position or tilt of the chest support may be adjusted forward and rearward relative to a seat (e.g., a seat of a chair attached to the chest support), allowing the user to bend, or tilt, his or her torso toward and away from a work area. The chest support is operative to support the torso of a user at the chest area, thereby permitting the user to perform a task while reducing the likelihood of lower back pain and body fatigue. In some embodiments, arm support assemblies may also be mounted to the chest support to effect corresponding movement of the arm support assemblies toward and away from the work area upon adjustment of the angular position or tilt of the chest support.
