  • Patent number: 5078358
Abstract: A copy holder having a slotted beam sized to accommodate paper copy has locking means in the form of a cylindrical bearing held partially within the slot of the beam to provide weighted pressure against paper held within the slot. A paper back support is hinged to the slotted beam which is pivotally mounted to a support bracket which is slidably received in a mounting bracket secured to a monitor or other object.

  • Patent number: 5040766
Abstract: A printer stand for support of a printer having a pair of spaced apart parallel bars which are supported by stanchions. A pair of spaced apart cantilever support arms having cross members for bracing are detachably secured to the stanchions. A paper catch tray is detachably mounted on and supported by the cantilever support arms. The height and width of the printer stand are adjustable to accommodate different sizes of printers.

  • Patent number: 4801004
Abstract: A magnetic disk storage case, having a boxlike portion with side and front walls, hinged by means of a binding to a top that overlies the boxlike portion. Attached to the binding is an articulated support ledge or shelf which is molded to the binding as well as the boxlike portion and the top in one injection molding process. The ledge or shelf is provided with two lateral tabs which extend outwardly through openings within two wall bracket portions depending from the top so as to allow the ledge to move backwardly and forwardly with the tabs being secured for their respective movement within the openings. This permits the ledge to be moved to a limited degree for expanding the space between the ledge and the interior surface of the top so as to provide greater access to magnetic memory disks stored on the ledge and held within the case.

  • Patent number: 4759443
Abstract: The disclosure herein sets forth a closed electronic media container having a hinged top portion and a bottom portion with a partially removable frontal wall. The hinged top portion is hinged to the bottom portion along a truncated interface sloping from the back to the front to expose electronic media therein. The top portion rests on the bottom portion when it is canted backwardly on an interfacing surface. The frontal wall breaks away from the angular corners of the side walls on the bottom portion of the container on a flexed resilient basis to expose electronic media therein and is retained by two ledges on either side of the bottom portion of the container in tightened juxtaposition thereto, after cooling of the unit when it is injection molded and the frontal wall is inserted therein for frictional engagement.

  • Patent number: 4684019
Abstract: The following specification discloses a diskette storage container having a base that has four upstanding walls that receive a plurality of pivotal slotted or fan tabbed individualized containers. The individualized pivotal containers have a plurality of slots provided by splines, ledges or webs on either side that receive diskettes therein and include a stepped base for exposing diskettes on a stair stepped basis within the slotted containers. Each individualized container is pivotally held on the base member by means of an upright securement formed as a pair of parallel walls forming a groove therein which receives a spindle formed in the bottom of the pivotal individualized container so that it can provide pivotal movement by the spindle moving in a rotational manner within the channel of the two upright walls forming the groove. The pivotal containers are enclosed within a hinged top cover that seats on the bottom base and provides for a dust cover and a protective case in cooperation with the base.

  • Patent number: 4588321
Abstract: The following specification sets forth a magnetic media and program storage case that is formed substantially from a single injection molded container. The injection molded container is formed with two major faces or covers and a binding or spine therebetween having a living hinge holding said major covers. An end closure or flap is hinged to one of the major covers by a living hinge. The flap incorporates tabs having tangs or barbs thereon for insertion within openings within the edge region of one of the covers. One of the major covers has a ring binder connected thereto for receipt of printed documentation in the form of a program, while said magnetic media is stored within a pocket including a pocket flap or cover that is attached to one of said major interior cover surfaces. The attachment can be by means of insertion tabs within an undercut channel or groove of said major cover. The foregoing provides for an entire cover for a printed program or instructions and magnetic media associated therewith.
