  • Patent number: 11922656
Abstract: A method comprises inputting a treatment planning image of a target subject into a machine learning system. The method further comprises determining, by the machine learning system, a first target-subject-specific model of the treatment planning image. The method further comprises applying, by a processing device, the first target-subject-specific model to the treatment planning image to generate a transformed treatment planning image corresponding to a first position of a plurality of positions of the target subject. The method further comprises comparing the transformed treatment planning image to a reference image. The method further comprises, based on the comparing, modifying one or more parameters of the first target-subject-specific model to generate a second target-subject-specific model corresponding to a second position of the plurality of positions.

  • Publication number: 20230265744
Abstract: A containment unit for containing fluid leaks in an ambient liquid. The containment unit comprises a weighted base for being disposed around the fluid leak. The weighted base is positioned on top of one or more suction piles. Further, the containment unit comprises a curtain unit coupled to the weighted base. The curtain unit comprises a helical spring and facilitates containing the fluid leak in the ambient fluid. The containment unit further comprises a flotation unit coupled to the curtain unit. The containment unit also comprises thrust roller bearings to allow rotation of the curtain unit with respect to the weighted base and the flotation unit. The invention further discloses a containment system comprising multiple containment units as needed depending on the depth of ambient liquid and as a surface flotation unit comprising pumps, sensors and skimming units to allow for the fluid leaked to be transferred to a vessel.

  • Patent number: 7623938
Abstract: We disclose and claim a method for custom fitting an article to a human being or animal comprising, selecting on the basis of body information about said human being or animal a subset of entries from a database populated with entries, wherein said entries comprise data from which said article is designed. We also disclose and claim a method for custom fitting an article to a human being or animal comprising, obtaining body information about said human being or animal, populating a database with entries comprising data about other individual human beings or animals selected from the group consisting of body dimensions and body information, selecting a subset of entries from said database on the basis of said body information about said human being or animal, and designing said article on the basis of said subset of entries.

  • Patent number: 5092510
Abstract: The method and apparatus of the present invention may be utilized to support a selected mounting point on a circuit board during the mounting an electronic component. An integrated circuit device is selected and positioned adjacent a first side of a circuit board at a desired mounting point utilizing a robotic manipulator and a placement head. A support fixture is then urged into temporary contact with a second side of the circuit board utilizing a flexible mounting system such that minor variations or misalignments between the plane of the support fixture, the circuit board and the placement head are eliminated. In one embodiment of the present invention a flexible fluid filled bag is utilized in conjunction with the support fixture so that the presence of components on the second side of the circuit board may be accommodated while supporting the circuit board during component mounting.
