  • Patent number: 10377510
Abstract: Various enhanced rocket fairings and associated mechanisms are discussed herein for split fairings with two fairing halves. In some implementations, electrically-actuated base clamps are included to deploy the rocket fairing by applying a spring force between a corresponding fairing half and a payload adapter, which directs movement of the fairing halves upwards and away from the payload adapter until release of the fairing halves. In other implementations, electrically-actuated fairing mechanisms are included to hold together a first fairing half and a second fairing half, and separate the first fairing half from the second fairing half using a spring force. In further implementations, one fairing half includes a tab feature configured to overlap a second fairing half. The tab feature can deform inward under a pressure differential between an exterior and a payload envelope to reduce a gap between the two fairing halves.

  • Publication number: 20190246078
Abstract: A recording system for an emergency response unit includes a first data collection device configured to record a first video, audio or data segment with an incident identifier and transmit a message including the incident identifier. A second data collection device may receive the message and, as appropriate, record at least a second video, audio or data segment with the incident identifier, allowing the first segment and the second segment to be associated using the incident identifier. In other embodiments, a first recording device may begin recording video, audio or legal evidence data with an incident identifier, and a control system may receive a message including the incident identifier from the first recording device, identify one or more additional recording devices located within a certain distance of the first recording device, and obtain recordings from the one or more additional recording devices.

  • Publication number: 20190199806
Abstract: In non-limiting examples, passive information is used to verify the location of a client computing device and to create segment categories for directed information using location-based services and/or applications. In aspects, passive information is received from a client computing device. The client computing device is detected as being located at a predicted venue using the passive information. It may be determined whether directed information associated with the predicted venue has been displayed at an earlier time on a predetermined portion of the client computing device. In response to determining directed information associated with the predicted venue has been displayed on the predetermined portion of the client computing device, a statistical model may be applied to calculate a confidence score that the client computing device is located at the predicted venue. When the confidence score meets a predetermined threshold, a directed information conversion record may be stored in a data store.

  • Publication number: 20190122251
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for automatic attribution modeling and measurement. In aspects, a system may receive identification information associated with profiles and electronic devices that were exposed to a certain piece of targeted content. The demographic and device data associated with the individuals who were exposed to the targeted content are used to create a control group of individuals who were not exposed to that targeted content. The real-world visit rates of the exposed group and the control group to one or more locations may be monitored over a period of time (or campaign) and evaluated to assess the effectiveness of the targeted content.
