  • Patent number: 11997173
Abstract: A method performed by a communication device in a network comprising mobile networks operated by mobile network operators, MNOs, is provided. The method includes signaling to a first server to discover a second server having information about a public land mobile network identifier and a network service of a MNO. The second server has a first fully qualified domain name, FQDN, pointing to a provider domain. The method further includes receiving a response including a resolution or a redirection of the FQDN; signaling to discover the information about the network service; and receiving a response from the second server including a first identification of the information about the network service of the MNO or a second identification that the network service is not available. Corresponding methods performed by a first server and a second server are also provided.

  • Patent number: 11293887
Abstract: An apparatus for analysis of metals is provided. The apparatus includes a molding cavity for receiving a sample of a molten metal, a gating system for allowing the molten metal to be poured, and a vent for allowing gases to escape from the apparatus when the molten metal is poured. The apparatus further includes at least one chill plate, adjacent to the molding cavity, for enabling faster cooling and solidification of the sample of the molten metal. The apparatus also includes a longitudinal slot, extending from the molding cavity, for allowing a sensor element to be introduced into the sample of the molten metal, the sensor element is a thermocouple wire that is used to monitor a cooling curve of the molten metal, while the molten metal solidifies.

  • Patent number: 9014999
Abstract: A method for calibrating a measuring system, which system comprises a structured light source, optics and a sensor. The light source is adapted to produce a light plane or sheet and the optics is located between the light plane and the sensor. The method is performed in order to obtain a mapping from the sensor to the light plane. In the method the light source is switched on such that the light plane is produced. In order to account for distortions due to the optics, a mapping calibration profile is introduced in the light plane, wherein the mapping calibration profile comprises at least three points forming a straight line. A non-linear mapping from the sensor to the light plane is then computed by using the at least three points. Next, in order to account for perspective distortions, a homography calibration profile is introduced in the light plane, wherein the homography calibration profile comprises at least four points the relative distance between which are predetermined.

  • Patent number: 5684465
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for supervising the functioning of a plurality of valve units, a system for performing the method, a control unit and a control assembly for cooperation with the control unit. Each valve unit in the system comprises a semiconductor element (THY1-THYN) and a control unit for controlling the semiconductor element. The control unit comprises a trigger order input for receiving a trigger order (FP), an indication output for emitting a first indication signal (TP) and a trigger signal output (100) for emitting a trigger signal to the semiconductor element. The method comprises the steps: detecting a positive forward voltage (U.sub.T) across the semiconductor valve, generating a first indication signal (IP) when the forward voltage (U.sub.T) exceeds a first threshold value (U.sub.1), generating a trigger signal upon detected receival of the triggering order signal (FP), and the step: generating a second indication signal (SSTP) when the forward voltage (U.sub.
