Abstract: A wall anchor (1) has a head shaft (5) and a screw nut shaft (6) on the same longitudinal axis (4), connected to each other by a plurality of approximately longitudinal small bars (7). The bars (7) are plastically flexible in a direction away from the axis (4). The screw nut shaft (6) is equipped with teeth (18) of generally triangular shape. The teeth (18) form a longitudinal projection with respect thereto and converge on the axis (4) to define a point (22) to perforate or drill a partition (8).

Abstract: A setting gripper (16) is disclosed for an anchor device of the type comprising two co-axial components of which each has a head with the head being spread apart co-axially during setting. The gripper (16) includes two jaws (36, 49) which are engaged between the two heads and are spread apart by a pivoting lever (20) relative to a gripper body (19) around axes (95, 111, 82, 85) which are increasingly removed from a zone of mutual contact (64, 110) between the lever (20) and a slider (21). The slider (21) defines one (49) of the two jaws, whereas the other jaw (36) is defined by the gripper body (19).

Abstract: A blind screw anchor, made of one piece of metal, has a shank, constituted by sleeve portions connected together by uniformly spaced links. A head flange is integrally connected to an adjacent sleeve portion at one end of the shank by a bridge piece bent at right angles to bring the head flange against the shank at that end. A tail cap piece is similarly connected to the sleeve portion at the other end of the shank and bent into abutting engagement therewith.The anchor, made of one piece of sheet metal, is economical to manufacture in a multistage strip forming press. It is especially useful for securing articles to hollow partition walls.
