  • Patent number: 10070775
Abstract: An endoscopic system according to the invention, in particular for colonoscopy, includes a flexible endoscope with an elongate, flexible shaft, a regulator part, and also an operating part which can be placed on or pushed onto the shaft and which has at least one control element, wherein the endoscopic system furthermore includes a shaft stop, which can be secured on a patient support and which has a locking mechanism, controllable by the at least one control element, for locking the shaft against movement in a longitudinal direction of the shaft.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: September 11, 2018
Assignee: Karl Storz SE & Co. KG
Inventors: Robert Ayrenschmalz, Viktor Josef Wimmer
  • Patent number: 9351630
Abstract: A flexible endoscope shaft with a shaft body which, viewed in the longitudinal direction of the endoscope shaft, is composed of at least two shaft portions with different degrees of flexibility, wherein at least one shaft portion is composed of at least one spring element, and wherein all the spring elements of the shaft portions, which, viewed in the longitudinal direction of the shaft body, are arranged proximally from the outer distal shaft portion, are designed as reversibly deformable spring rods extending in the longitudinal direction of the shaft body. In order to create a flexible endoscope shaft that can be produced easily and cost-effectively, each of the shaft portions having at least one spring rod has at least one further spring rod, which is integrally bonded to the other spring rods of the respective shaft portion.

  • Publication number: 20140142387
Abstract: A flexible endoscope shank with a shank body which, viewed in the longitudinal direction of the endoscope shank, is composed of at least two shank portions with different degrees of flexibility, wherein at least one shank portion is composed of at least one spring element, and wherein all the spring elements of the shank portions, which, viewed in the longitudinal direction of the shank body, are arranged proximally from the outer distal shank portion, are designed as reversibly deformable spring rods extending in the longitudinal direction of the shank body. • Patent number: 7893956
Abstract: The invention relates to an image pick-up module, in particular for an endoscope, comprising an electronic image sensor having a plurality of contact fingers that are arranged in two rows on opposite sides and each have a length, and a circuit board, to which the contact fingers are electrically contact-connected, the circuit board having at least three sections which are connected to one another in one piece and of which a first and a second section extend in a manner spaced apart from one another essentially transversely with respect to the image sensor and a third section extends essentially parallel to the image sensor, the image sensor being arranged at the end of the first and second sections which is remote from the third section, and at least one row of the contact fingers of the image sensor running along an outer side of the first or second section.
