  • Patent number: 10696455
Abstract: By securely affixing or bonding a multi-layer film to the terminating end of a closure/stopper, with the multi-layer film being constructed for promoting the transfer of all of the desirable gases, chemicals, and/or compounds while preventing the transfer of undesirable gases, chemicals, and/or compounds, a unique, closure or stopper having a sealed and/or barrier bearing terminating end is achieved. In this way, wine sealed in the wine bottle by the closure/stopper of the present invention is assured of possessing a long storage life, while also having the flavor, bouquet, taste, and quality desired for the wine fully maintained.

  • Patent number: 10097430
Abstract: The present disclosure extends to methods, systems, and computer program products for tracking and analyzing mobile application user interactions. One or more mobile devices run an application. At each of the one or more mobile devices, a framework level interaction logger logs user interactions with the application. Analysis modules and heat map generators can use the logged user interactions to generate reports and heat maps indicative of the performance of the application.

  • Patent number: 9680418
Abstract: A voltage gain amplifier (VGA) configured to have reduced supply noise. The VGA includes first resistor, first FET, and a first current-source coupled between first and second voltage rails. The VGA includes second resistor, second FET, and second current-source coupled between the voltage rails. A variable resistor is coupled between the respective sources of the first and second FETs. Variable capacitors are coupled between the first or a third voltage rail and the sources of the first and second input FETs, respectively. If capacitors are coupled to the first voltage rail, noise cancellation occurs across the gate-to-source voltages of the FETs if an input differential signal applied to the gates of the FETs is derived from a supply voltage at the first voltage rail. If capacitors are coupled to the third rail, supply noise is reduced if the supply voltage at the third rail is generated by a cleaner regulator.

  • Publication number: 20150089632
Abstract: A method for authentication checking comprises receiving an authentication verification request for accessing an application. The authentication verification request includes a user identification, a device identification and an application identification. A validity of the authentication verification request is determined based on at least a last known authentication information, and a first subset of an application policy rule-set specific to the user identification and the device identification, if the application policy rule-set permits cross-application authentication; otherwise the validity is determined based on at least a second subset of the application policy rule-set specific to the user identification, the device identification and the application identification. Access to the application is enabled if the validity of the authentication verification request is true; otherwise a new authentication is requested.

  • Publication number: 20140279241
Abstract: Exemplary embodiments are directed to providing product information from disparate sources in an electronic product information retrieval environment. An electronic product search request can be received from a user and product specific information returned in response to the search request can be used by exemplary embodiments to programmatically constructs one or more electronic requests for information from one or more disparate data sources to retrieve inventory information, logistic information, and/or product location information corresponding the products identified in the product specific information. A graphical user interface can be generated by exemplary embodiments providing an integrated and formatted view of the product specific information, the inventory information, and the product location information for display.

  • Publication number: 20070117616
Abstract: In use, the player would insert his or her player card at the EGM (10). The system checks to see if any multiplier currently applies to the machine and player. The multiplier is available as a token and can communicate to the guest via display on the EGM (10). The multiplier would be displayed using a conditional message feature of the display. Session points would accumulate at the “multiplied” rate and are displayed as such on the EGM display. Alternately, an assurance message is available to be displayed frequently that shows the-current multiplier. When the player removes his or her card, the session is posted to the patron management system. Casino personal can then review the session detail by accession the history of the player at a workstation capable of querying the player tracking system (40). The session multiplier and points earned by the multiplier are listed within the record.

  • Publication number: 20050009601
Abstract: A method for customizing play of a gaming device to a particular player level or group, where the gaming device is connected by a network to a host computer, includes creating a player account accessible by the host computer. The player account is associated with a player and has stored therein one of a plurality of player levels. The player is allowed to play on the gaming device and the gaming device is operated responsive to the player level. That is, the step of operating the gaming device includes adjusting a bonus triggering threshold and/or quantitative amount awarded based on the player level. In this way, high rated players such as those that gamble frequently and in high amounts, have gaming and bonusing events and award amounts tailored to their style of play and preferences to encourage continued play.

  • Patent number: 6568575
Abstract: A harness with detachable and interchangeable pouches comprises two torso straps extending downwardly and outwardly from a central coupler assembly, two shoulder straps, and two belly straps. The harness is adjustable to fit nearly any body size. The pouches are attached to the harness with quick-releasing retaining clips and to each other by the belly straps. Each pouch includes front and rear panels that are formed using either a right-side template or a left-side template and is interchangeable with any other pouch designed using the same template. The interchangeability allows the wearer to install pouches that are best suited for a particular activity. Each pouch is designed such that, when worn, it hangs at an angle which causes its top to slant downwardly toward the middle of the wearer's torso, thereby increasing the accessibility of the pouch contents.

  • Patent number: 6438268
Abstract: A data compression system using vector quantization utilises a codebook or index tables constructed by finding a small set of points in an n-dimensional space which are representative of a much larger population. The space is partitioned such that the integrals of the probability density functions over all the subspaces are approximately equal and thereafter the centre of gravity of each subspace is taken to represent the subspace population. The partitioning is effected sequentially to map n-dimensional space into one dimensional code space.
